  1. Thankful and so wonderful to see how happy Zenyatta and Ann are. She remains a cut above all others.

  2. I thank YOU, Ann, for being such an ambassador for taking care of our horses after their careers end. Of making sure they are well taken care of and not tossed aside, or allowed to enter into situations of fatality to incur insurance proceeds to cover career losses. I thank you for continuing to be a strong representation of responsibility and after care with the ones who have graced your ownership.

  3. So wonderful to see the two loveliest, and most photogenic, ladies ever! You can see the happiness and love in these photos — it’s palpable. What a beautiful sight!

Loved the Dumpling banner and photo of the Z fans!!

Thank you to Ann, Team Z and Lane’s End for giving us something to brighten our lives and make us smile.

    Hugs and Love ❤️ 🏇 ❤️ 🏇 ❤️

  4. ZENYATTA, still the Queen of my Heart ❤️. Her pictures still hold a place of honor in my barn and home and I continue to think of her with sincere reverence. Love the phots of her and Ann, bless you both for long and wonderful lives.

  5. Beautiful photos of Zenyatta and Ann. A big shout out to the Z Dumplings

Zenyatta is the Queen and was such a huge part of my life at Hollywood Park and Santa Anita. .
Thank you for sharing Zenyatta with all those who love her.

  6. Thanks so much for including our group photo of the Z-Dumplings, along with all the wonderful pictures of Zenny and Ann — which we never tire of! We did have a good time at the Breeder’s Cup, and got together for a big dinner on the 2nd night. Various smaller groups of us also met for other meals, and at Clocker’s Corner, and for photos at the big cutout of Zenny with Mike aboard. It was nice to have better opportunities to get to know more of the Z-Dumplings. We have all been following Zenyatta for so many years now, and we enjoyed renewing those connections.

  7. This has just made my day. Zenyatta and Ann spending quality time together, it doesn’t get any better. Ten years after the greatest race of all time, and the Queen is still getting awards. Zenyatta you are the Queen and will always be number One. Thank You to everyone on Team Z for continuing to share her with all of us.I hope Coz, Zi, Zelda, and the soon to be new arrival are all doing well.

  20. Dear Z Fans:

Really good article by Steve Haskin that I think most of us can relate to and enjoy. Love and Hugs, JB

    1. Dear Judy,

Thanks a million for posting the link to Steve Haskin’s article. Nobody does it like SH, and no horse does it like Secretariat! I love remembering that TC run, especially the Belmont which was out-of-this-world — truly incredible. I get emotional every time I watch that stretch run! Love Big Red, my hero.

      Hugs and Love

      1. Dear Marshall:

They’ll never be another Big Red. I love him too. I think the fact that Charlie is his Great Grandson is one of the reasons he touches my heart so. Love and Hugs, JB

    2. Judy,
As usual, Steve tells the story for all of us. Will never forget Big Red on the track and visiting him at Claiborne. He really knew he was The Star.

      1. Dear Shirlee:

He truly was The Star! Love and Hugs, JB

    3. Dear Judy.Wonderful article as usual from SH.I have always believed age brings wisdom but to avoid mirrors especially when you see your grandmother’s reflection!Of course life was better way back when.I just cannot believe so many were’nt around to see England win the World cup in 66′ or even remember Arkle or Red Rum racing.I am no fan of modern society really. Thanks for sharing.Love and hugs.

      1. Dear Sheena:

Yes, I miss the “good old days” too. I guess every generation feels that way. Although, life did seem more simple and innocent back then.

Goodnight. Love and Hugs, JB, LM and all the Sweeties

  25. Love seeing the Queen with her loving mom Ann. These two always make me teary eyed. The love they share is so beautiful. Glad the boys are doing so well and can’t wait to see how Zelda does. Waiting for the new little girl!

Hovis is’nt bothered about horsepital not while he’s eating his dinner anyway!

    1. Dear Sheena:

Wishing Hovis a safe and complete procedure that will finally make healing possible. Poor baby has been through it. Sending prayers.

After visiting Hudson yesterday, stopped by the farm to see Charlie. The four horses that are still recuperating from the virus were together in the paddock next to him. All of them and Charlie were wearing their warm blankets. Been very cold here this week. Figgi came over to say hello and she was not as warm to the touch as she was when I last saw her. She, her mom Willow, Fancy (who’s 31) and Haley (a beautiful Leopard Appaloosa) all looked better to me than they did on Monday. Hopefully, they’ll be fully over it by next week and there will be no more horses that come down with this awful virus. It’s over two months since this started and after going through practically the whole herd (about 40 horses), just now seems to be finally abating.

Goodnight. Love and Hugs, JB, LM and all the Sweeties

  27. Thank you Zenyatta and Ann and your whole team.

  28. Dear Z, COZ, ZI, ZEL and DC:

Hope you had a pleasant day. Goodnight and Happy Dreams. Love and Hugs, JB
