Nothing and no one is worthy of sacrificing the best of oneself to please or placate. We have the right to refuse anything that would destroy our own honor or self-esteem. Right and wrong may not always be clear cut for us, but if we hold to what we know is right, we will not have failed.
Regaining self-respect may be more difficult than losing it, but it can be done. We only have to consider where we want to be a week, a month, or a year from now. Will the path we are on get us there? Sometimes the wisest thing is to turn around and go back to common sense.

Our children were never known to cry of hunger, and no stranger, red or white, was permitted to enter our lodges without finding food and rest.

  8. Dear Sheena,

Wookie of My Pom Pals had a crisis last night…collapsing tracheae. They were able to stabilize him and he got to go home. They were thinking surgery would be needed. No stent this time. They feel they can manage it for now. He is lucky him Mama is a vet! The FB furbabies seem to be okay. Prayers for Wookie! Have a good Friday and enjoy the weekend ahead. Prayers that all horses and jockeys stay safe this weekend. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO

  9. Dear Kathy.Oh,poor Wookie I haven’t visited yet.I have been in tears watching Joey’s videos. It must have been such a shock for Theba finding out about his passing 10hrs later.Where on earth does a year go???Blue 24 is defending “her” nest now and courting(yes we still use the word in Wales!!!) Monty. He looks deep in thought this morning.Zoe visited Mr Len(my own father’s name) and has lost another friend.Did’nt Mr Fibbs look a tiny bit guilty?Have a great day.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO

    1. Dear Sheena,
Blue 24 needs to find herself a mate at the beginning of the season.
Monty is reflecting on his last few months with Glesni, his chicks and it
will be soon for him to go and leave that crazy woman behind. She is
sooo nuts. They need to do some studing on these breeding females that
don’t find mates and their crazy behavior. Divebombing the nest so she can claim
it as her own- the season is over !!!!

  10. Remembering this day in 2005 when Hurricane Katrina struck and caused such devastation.Thinking of the victims and their families today.RIP.Hugs Sheena.

  11. Hi
It’s been almost a month since we have had a update from Zenyatta.com.
How about some new photo’s of our queen, or update’s of Cozmic One.

  12. Bonjour Zenyatta!

You look absolutely gorgeous as usual.

I am eager to learn if it is a girl or a boy. Of course, I
    want a girl.

    Thank you!
