VERSAILLES, KY — (May 17, 2020) Zenyatta gave birth to a chestnut filly by Candy Ride this morning at Lane’s End Farm. The foal, Zenyatta’s sixth, arrived at 5:40 a.m. ET, weighing 148 lbs. She has one hind sock and a star.

Zenyatta and her filly are both in excellent health following an easy delivery. It brings us such joy to see them bonding in their paddock on this beautiful day.

We would like to express a sincere thank you to Zenyatta’s veterinary team and staff at Lane’s End for their dedication to the wellbeing of Zenyatta and her new foal.

  2. Dear Z Fans:

Scroll down the article for the race replay of the Santa Maria Stakes at SA yesterday. Congrats to Fighting Mad, who went gate to wire. After a bad start, Hard Not To Love and Mikey made up a lot of ground to finish second. Congrats to her, Mike, JS, Dottie and connections. Love and Hugs, JB

    1. Dear Judy,

I saw that race — Hard Not To Love did amazingly well closing to second. Proud of her and congrats to her, Mike, JS and all connections. Congrats to Fighting Mad and connections on the win, also.

      Thanks for posting!

      Hugs and Love

      1. P.S.
Hope Horologist will be okay. Was pulled up by Flavian Pratt and walked across the finish line. I saw where she walked off the track. Took a bad step apparently.
        Any further details?

        Hugs and Love

        1. Dear Marshall:

I will see if I can find any further info on Horologist. Hoping she’s OK. Love and Hugs, JB

    2. RIP Arrogate. Just so sad.

  3. Very sad news to report, Arrogate has died from some sort of neurological condition. This is being reported on by Ray Paulik. Necropsy to follow. Sounds like they went all out to save him but he was unable to stand for four days. RIP. Lindal

  4. So sad for Arrogate’s team. He and Roaring Lion left us way too soon and wondering what could have been with the foals of these two magnificent talented horses.

  5. RIP Arrogate, you will be missed.

  6. I just read about Arrogate. RIP.

  7. RIP Arrogate. Gone way too soon — run with the angels now, brave one.
    😔
    Such sad news.

    Hugs and Love

  8. Dear Lindel, Shirlee, Allen, Martha, Marshall and Z Fans:

    Tears😪😪😪

Made me think of Street Cry, who also had neurological issue.

RIP Beautiful, Talented Boy. Run free in God’s Heaven. Love You. Hugs, JB

    1. Dear Judy,

Thanks for posting this tribute to beautiful Arrogate. There are many who are devastated — much too young to leave us. So sorry that this magnificent stallion has been lost.
      RIP Arrogate, farewell champ.

      Hugs and Love 💔

      1. Dear Marshall:

Oh, I know, only seven years old. Heartbreaking. Love and Hugs, JB

    2. Dear Judy:

This so sad, Arrogate was one of the best.
Oh God, sometimes life is….Cruel. RIP !
      Big hugs Ingrid.

    Love You. Hugs, JB❤️❤️❤️

  11. PS: Have looked everywhere I could think of for an update on Horologist without success. Hoping she is alright. Love and Hugs, JB

  12. Judy,
Thanks for posting the tribute to Arrogate. Mike seems to really love the horses he rides often. I can’t wait to see how the Arrogate/Songbird foal turns out. With those bloodlines should be something special.

I saw a post on Facebook from Bob B about your boy Max. He had his first work with Baffert and seems to be doing well. I hope things go well for Max. He is a talented horse and should do well with Bob.
