Equibase chart just says Awesome Debate sustained injury near the 9/16th pole of the race and jockey “expertly placed in a protective hold…pulled up….subsequently vanned off”.
Poor baby; praying she’ll be OK.

The upside of that race was that B. Hernandez won on Miss Jimmy. Great to see Maggie Wolfendale congratulating him since she knows him well from his former work with her husband Tom Morley. She was genuinely excited and so was he. Sweet!
