      Thanks for the link. Hot Rod Charlie was a little character, wasn’t he? He
      sure showed everyone an astonishing second to Essential Quality in the
      Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (94-1 long shot). He has done very well this year, too!

    So excited and worried over the Apple Blossom tomorrow. Hope it is a dead heat between these 2 great mares. So afraid someone will be injured! Cannot pick a winner. Checked their pedigrees and both have my beloved Alydar in there. That could be where Sky Diver got that beautiful red coat. Safe trip to all.

    Thanks Judy for the adorable photo. It made my day and is now resting comfortably in my “Too Cute” file. DARN! Looks like I won’t be able to see the Apple Blossom as its being run, but should be able to see a rerun later fingers crossed. I finally decided that since I’m getting a little older myself , I might have to root a little bit harder for Monomoy Girl, but Swiss Skydiver is right next to her. I just hope that by being in the 6th position MG can stay out of trouble and she and S.S. can both come home safely. Hey guess what, its actually trying to be Spring here and is reported we might have temps in the 70’s for 2 or 3 days in a row. Sure hope its sunny and warm for any and all other Zsters and especially for Zenny and all her kids.

    Are any of y’all owners of Tizamagician? He won at a 1-1/2 mile stakes race! Won going away. Guess this guy needed distance. He is a beauty. Congrats to all the My Race Horse owners!

      That was quite a run by Tizamagician and Flavien Prat in the Tokyo City
      Cup (G3) on Sunday! Congrats to all! Flavien won earlier on Cezanne, too.
      Both wins were by 9+ lengths. Congrats all around!

      Sadly, Multiplier suffered injuries to his right front ankle and was vanned off after the Tokyo City Cup.
      The plan was to stabilize it and do surgery to repair, but further X-rays revealed too much damage. He was euthanized. RIP Multiplier, a lovely gray gelding who was 7 sevens old — so sorry, brave boy.
      Also, at Santa Anita (on Saturday in Race 2), another brave soul suffered a
      fatal injury to the left front ankle. RIP My Child Sbud — gone too soon.
      Condolences to all who cared for these angels.?
      Apparently, Santa Anita is still having a lot of fatalities. Hope things will
      change soon for the sake of the horses.

    Just heart broken for Umberto Rispoli. He was replaced as the rider of Rock Your World. I know this happens but still feel sorry for him. He was so excited to be going to the Derby. Perhaps he will get another mount for the big race. I don’t blame Joel, and the owners have a right to choose their jockey. Just hope all goes well for Umberto and he has a safe and great career.
