Happy Monday Everyone,
We have just completed another very exciting weekend of racing with many full fields and competitive events. Congratulations to all of the winners and their connections! To win a race at any level is a big accomplishment…and to win a graded stake is truly something to be cherished.
I sincerely want to send a HIGH HOOF to FRANKEL for his victory on Saturday at Ascot. It is with great respect that I want to congratulate him on his undefeated record that is now 9 for 9. This wonderful colt is competing at the highest level in our sport….and his continued success is something to be treasured!
While at Keeneland, MY JOHN visited with TIGER again….the adorable pony in this photo. Tiger was there last year with his connections when MY JOHN went to Keeneland to run Harmonious. He is laughing here as it reminds him that ALL HORSES ARE “TOO CUTE”. They simply come in various shapes and sizes blessed with different capabilities and goals! This thought is so true…and can be applied to so many different aspects in all levels of life.
Just thinking…only 18 days until Breeders’ Cup….and this means….only 18 days until MY PARTY. Wow! This is all so exciting. Also, I can’t wait to share with YOU what MY JOHN whispered in my ear when we visited.
With Love,
Hugs to All~

Dear Great One,
Now that I have cemented my first place for today’s posts, I want to also extend my appreciation and respect for this weekend’s winners. A HIGH HOOF to Sarah Lynx. Wow, did that little filly pull a Zenyatta on a bunch of boys in the Pattison! I loved that. Frankel, what can you say? That guy has it all going on. I wonder if he might be someone you may want to “date” in the future? I’m getting excited about the Breeder’s Cup too. As you say, dear one, only 18 days to go. Love you; have a wonderful day.
Your humble J

Wow, way too cute! I’ll bet Tiger gets lots of lovin’ and treats and attention … John looks happy to be with him! Glad all is well with you & yours … so wish I could make it to your party but, since my hubby was already scheduled out of town then & one of us needs to be with our kiddles (not a problem you’ll have to worry too much about), I’m seriously hoping that this is the first of many Zenyatta parties! Take care sweetness! Hugs & squishes! XOXOXOXO

Oh, Zenyatta, I can’t wait to hear John’s secret. When will we find out what he whispered in those cute ears of yours? Are you having any strange food cravings these days? Wonder what a broodmare is thinking during her first pregnancy. So glad that John and Dottie have a flair for the whimsical. They definitely know their business, but aren’t afraid to have some fun. Thank you Dottie for such an uplifting, heartwarming website.
Janis
Dottie, I know that I am only one of so, so many that want to see Zenyatta up close. Is thre any chance that between pregnancies that Lanes End might let people in to see her one day a week? If not, how about another contest that allows maybe 25 winners to see her…

AWWW Zenny! The photo of YOUR JOHN is TOO CUTE!! I’ve seen that smile on John’s face many times over the years :-) Yes, our ponies do come in all shapes and sizes!
~~~~~~~~
I missed the segment on NBC with John because I was at the track on Saturday ~ I understand John Henry was also mentioned (sold for $1,100) ~ I will look for it on the Internet.
~~~~~~~~
I saw Dottie and she was wearing an adorable leopard print skirt with ruffles – she is TOO CUTE!
~~~~~~~
Back to work for me! I’m looking forward to what John aka “horse whisperer said to you!
Kisses & Hugs Queen Mammy and Baby B/Z XOXOXOXO
Happy Monday, Madame Queen!
I LOVE this photo of YOUR JOHN. It shows his range of skills — from YOU who gaze down at us all from your lofty height to TIGER who tops off at his belt buckle! JOHN is a wonderful man — and his joy in horses shines out through the lens.
Every time I read of an equine accident or injury, I marvel all over again at how amazing TEAM Z is and what magnificent care they took of you. Because of their love, wisdom, skill,and patience, we were blessed to be able to watch you race over three + years. And — when we consider that the way you liked to race, with your incredible come-from-behind final surge, was a recipe for mishaps in traffic, YOUR record becomes more extraordinary as we have more time to reflect on it.
Finally, can’t resist saying how much I love it that my fave jockey, YOUR MIKE, had a win at Santa Anita this weekend on a horse named “Handsome Mike.” I wish I could have heard the call!
Tiger is just adorable! Looking forward to your party. I will be there in spirit. I hope those of us stuck at home will be able to see your live feed video. Also can’t wait to hear your John’s secret! Have a wonderful day and week, sweet Zenny.
Wow, Tiger looks almost like a mini version of you, Zenny! Little white spot on the forehead, white stockings on hind feet… too cute! :)
Zenny, your John and Tiger both are too CUTE in this photo. They seem to be enjoying themselves…I love John’s smile.
I’m wondering what John’s “secret” is…if it involves YOU it’s bound to be super spectacular. Your party will be grand…I hope those who go will share the details with us.
My Beautiful Zenyatta~ Tiger and YOUR JOHN are just adorable…His love for the equine world shows through in every photo.
Frankel is AMAZING! Neried ran a fine race as well, coming in 3rd.
@ALL~ Baby news: Momma will be induced tomorrow Oct. 18th. What a grueling 2 months it has been…and that is for Grammy, imagine what it has been like for Mom and Dad…It seems so odd to me that they give her all the drugs to STOP labor…now they will be giving them to INDUCE labor. Nonetheless, tomorrow is the day and I will let you know the details as soon as I can. Thanks again to ALL for the thoughts and prayers the last 2 months. They were answered.
Very adorable. But you know that Little Silver Charm at Old Friends is going to be quite jealous – he thinks he is the only mini in Zenyatta’s life!
Talking about TOO CUTE!! Tiger takes cute out a whole new door!! I also would love to see you my darling Queen. I live in Western NC so I’m not that far from you. If only I knew I could visit you, I’d drop everything and take off to KY. Is there any way I can visit you?
P.S. I can’t find the interview mentioned in previous posts with John that includes a video of Zenyatta and TT. Can someone post it again? Thanks.
We visited Barn 55 yesterday for the first time since the Del Mar meeting and the Hollywood Park backstretch renovations.
There is a new occupant in Barn 55, Stall 85. Beautiful Eblouissante has moved into her super star sister, Zenyatta’s former stall. She also has a new groom — Mario. How wonderfully apropos!
Eblouissante is such a kind, intelligent horse — like her big sister. She has grown since we last saw her in August at Del Mar. We will be posting photos later today on E’s website.
@Kennedys, so what happened to all the Zenyatta “stuff”? Does she still have a shrine? Glad Mario is brushing Ebby Lou.
