Good Morning,
During the past few weeks, we have had so many fabulous days in Lexington. It was particularly gorgeous weather post Breeders’ Cup. The days were “picture perfect” when MY JOHN and DOTTIE were here visiting and attending the Fasig-Tipton and Keeneland Sales. I know they totally enjoyed each moment while in town.
At the farm, I did want to show them I am also getting my proper exercise each day. Tasty and I have so much FUN and do enjoy our time ‘stretching our legs’ out in the paddock. Obviously, I am not zipping along at 40 miles per hour…as I did when I’d be finishing my races…but I am still moving about at a pretty strong clip.
Whenever I’m really enjoying myself…feeling so free and so completely happy…my tail goes up and OFF I GO.
In addition to her other special qualities, Tasty is a wonderful exercise partner! She is an accomplished race horse having won some very nice stakes races. We ‘play’ quite well together!
I’d like to thank so many of you for adding photos to my FACEBOOK PHOTO section. The party photos are quite special. It was great to see ME there! Lou Naylor from Texas gave a HIGH HOOF to MY PARTY. Thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed your time there and the FOOD! I heard it was quite good!
To see some of these photos, please click the FACEBOOK icon on the right hand corner of my Home Page. It will take you to my FB page. Then on the left, click PHOTOS. The ones you have submitted will come up. I particularly like seeing ALL of YOU having a great time! Enjoy!
With Love,
Hugs to All~

@Zenny and Tasty: Just loving all the photos! Love the flagging tail when you get excited and run, Z! When we turned the little TB we rescued loose in a paddock on Sunday, he did just like you did when you first got let loose at Lane’s End – galloping like blue blazes, tail flagging, snorting and whinnying! TOO CUTE!

Morning Z! It has been especially nice here in CA too. We do have a storm front moving in on Friday, so we are enjoying this nice, mild weather. You look precious romping with Tasty! Have a wonderful day! Oh, we moved Doozey home from the trainers two weeks ago, and Kate is absolutely thrilled because she gets to see Doozey every day now. xxoo

What a sweet picture of two pretty moms-to-be frolicking in the sunshine on the rolling hills of Kentucky – knowing you have a life like this makes me happy, Zenyatta. Everything you do makes me happy!

Even before I read Z’s comment on her raised tail, was the first thing I noticed. Reminded me of the beautiful video of her last year at Lanes End squealing with delight as she ran in the snow her tail up. What a wonderful personality she has.

@Eveline–either I’ve missed your posts, or you’ve been gone. Either way–welcome back.
@the Kennedys–the story on Well Armed is a “must read”. Thanks so much.
@diana s–Way to go, HUP!!That must have been a sight to see!
@Precious Z– you and TT look like you’re on a mission. I’d love to know what’s one the other side of that field. You put the “z” in “zip” for all of us for sure.

beautiful picture Zenny. Not been so nice the past two day, but we gotta take the rain along with the sunshine.

Zen..you and Tasty are too cute for words..Love seeing the two of you running in your paddock..it seems you do get a lot of exercise.
@John..love all the photos you take of your horses. Thanks.
@Dottie..thanks for all your work being the “voice” of our QUEEN..Z.kisses on your soft nose and take care of baby..XOXO
Janice
Zenyatta, cannot wait to see the look on your face when you watch your newborn run. It is still difficult for me to think of you as a broodmare. Though always calm and gentle around people, you were quite the force on the track. Miss you. Kisses to your soft nose.

It’s so good to see you happy and having fun, Zenny. Love ya!

Exhilarating and fun, it seems! Thanks for sharing, darling Z with the tail at attention! Love you always.

Hi dear Zenny – love the picture!! If only it was a video – we could actually see you and Tasty running around! My horses’s tail does the same thing when he’s running in his paddock. There’s nothing more beautiful then watching a TB run – whether on the track or out in the field!

Dear Zenny, so wonderful to see you and TT so happy. You both look gorgeous!!! John and Dottie, thank you so much for all the beautiful pictures.
@Kennedys great article about Well Armed enjoyed reading it so much. It is wonderful listening to how some owners love their horses so very much
Happy Wednesday to all

Wow, you look maarvelous, Darling Miss Z!
Tasty, too. My heart is filled with such happiness knowing you have such a wonderful life and are so loved by so many. I watched replays of some of your races the other day. Despite knowing the outcomes and how truly incredible you are, I was blown away all over again. THANKS for being one of the greats and sharing it with us.

I’m slowly getting caught up!
@Kari B: SO happy to see you back! Boy, it’s true- those East Tennessee girls are TOUGH! (and sweet!) Sending happiness your way on the easterly winds we have today <3
@Allen in TN: I'm in Lyles, which is in northeast Hickman County. We are about 45 miles west of Nashville. Your Thoroughbreds sound wonderful! And how lucky are your grandchildren, too?!? How long have you had your horses? Would love to hear more about them!
@DMCQ: So glad to see you back posting! <3
@ALL who commented about Choctaw (I don't want to omit names): Thank you- he is one special horse. I will tell more about him soon, when I have more time.
@Dawn C: I hope you are feeling better! I took my copy of "War Horse" out of the envelope it came in and discovered I received War Horse, a science fiction book of the same name! Boo! It was probably my error :(
@Linda in Florida: Best wishes and positive thoughts being sent your way! <3
@LouAnn Cingel and Sharon in Seattle: You are both in my thoughts and prayers and I hope you are having good days <3
@Trina: I watched the video clip about the rescued Saint Bernard. THANK you. It made my heart ache, but in a good way. Hercules has a very sweet, kind expression- reminds me of Tiny some. That was amazing but not surprising what he did. I don't have vast experience with Saint Bernards, but Tiny had such an intuitive, nurturing character and he was protective, but in an appropriate way, like Hercules. During our brief foray into therapy dog work, Tiny never ceased to amaze me the way he would seem to know what each person needed or wanted: quiet and still, goofy and boisterous or somewhere in-between. Okay, I better stop writing about him now!
@The Kennedys: Well Armed's story is remarkable! Thank you.
@AnnMaree: Hi to another Tennessean! I just wanted to say, I really enjoyed your slide show of pictures taken at Z's party. Through the photos and descriptions I've seen, I ALMOST feel like I was there! When I went to the KD Museum that day to get my tickets (and seat cushions- love them!), I could still feel all the energy in the air inside the lobby, leftover from the party.
@Anyone: Has anyone heard from Terry Crow?
@Quarterhossgal: How is Bailey doing?
@Kim S: How are William and Lacy? Still an item? :)
@Diana S: I must have missed the story about you saving a horse- was it recent, as in the last couple of posts?
@Shari Volz: Hi, friend!
Regarding gray horses and genetics: I don't know much about genetics, but Tapit sure has some pretty gray children, doesn't he? Go, Zazu!
Warm wishes to all <3

Hey, everyone: this is a very funny clip about “the best horse in Europe.” It is not very long. I hope our John and Dottie see it, too!

@Kari Bussell – We’re so glad to have you back! I just knew you’d be back before the UK/UT football game. UT’s not having a very good year, but UK is even worse. Thank goodness for basketball!

Oh Z….it is wonderful to see you and Tasty having so much fun together…just running a long without a care in the world. Like I said…better enjoy this freedom…before long you will have a little one under your feet or is that hoofs. Hugs to you …and to Tasty!!!

Hilarious video ,thanks.

Dear Zenyatta. Love, your tail goes up and your off. What a site that must be, you and Tasty running around your paddock. Beautiful I am sure. It is very important that you both get your exercise. How wonderful that John and Dottie have been able to spend some time together enjoying you, the sales, and fall in Lexington. Sounds like a great combination!! Take care my love. Sweet dreams. Hugs and kisses. XXXOOO
@Susan in TN – What a cute video! So sorry you received the wrong War Horse.
@The Kennedys – Thank you for the link to the story about Well Armed. I had seen a short documentary about him before. It is definitely one of those remarkable feel good stores, with the happily ever after ending. It was great to see pictures of him on the rance in Texas living the good life.
@Cynthia H – Thank you for the link to light a candle for Bobby Frankel, what an amazing man and horseman. Love to Dottie today in remembering her beloved Bobby.

Have you ever considered asking Lane’s End to put a webcam in your stall so we adoring fans can watch you?
