Good Morning,
Look who arrived to share all of my ‘new experiences’ with ME during the next several days….MY OWNERS!
I am so, so excited. Yesterday, we spent some time out in my paddock area together for a bit….and then some more time together indoors in my barn. We cuddled, we snuggled, and we just ‘hung out’. No treats…as my diet is being so carefully monitored these days….just sharing TRUE LOVE, FRIENDSHIP and JOY!
As you can see, it was a bit chilly and the snow is definitely on the ground…but it didn’t change anything for us. We had a great time sharing so many cherished moments together!
I am so HAPPY!
Lane’s End is also TOO CUTE! They had special coveralls made for both of them. Their names are personally stitched on the garments. This way, they’ll have something special to wear when ‘hanging out with ME’.
Everything is STATUS QUO with my ‘physical signs as I progress towards becoming a MOM’. Each day is a step closer…but other than that no further news.
I must stay, MY OWNER looks pretty terrific here….but I DO TOO (Blush, Blush) …especially when one considers I’m right at full term in my pregnancy!
A HIGH HOOF to our great photographer…who knew exactly how to capture the perfect pose.
This is truly a photo for our memory books!
With Love,
Hugs to ALL~(Yeah, Barretts on a great sale last night. Numbers are UP!)

This is killing me – in a good way of course!!!
PACE PACE PACE – I for sure wont sleep tonight- sleepless in the OC!!!
Good Luck Zenyatta – only you could crash a website!!!
Remember the Breeder’s Cup – Santa Anita – I think the Grand Stand almost went down with so many people cheering and jumping up and down the entire race!!!
And in 2010 at Churchhill – I was not there but I watched it live on TV and boy oh boy did that Grandstand almost go down with everyone cheering the QUEEN – this is even bigger news and more exciting!!!
God Bless Zenyatta and her Foal of the Ages!!!!
Hugs and Kisses
Pati- Professional Pacer
Someone mentioned that she heard groaning @ SA from the GrandStand when Zenyatta won with everyone jumping up and down. Maybe we were closer to collapse than we originally thought!! :-O

I have chills when I read Zenny might foal in the next 24 hours. We should have had a phone chain to tell each other. A phone chain around the country. That would be cool !! Only a social studies teacher would think of that.

Not only you I thought about it too!

Lisag in Texas
OK, it is official I am a wreck. Lucy is yelling at me in her bark, bark, to go outside and I am worried that Diane did not make it to the little girls room in time, and it is very possible we are all going to be Auntie, Uncles, Granny, Nanny, Grandpapa’s TONIGHT…
Sierra is upset and pacing
Hang in there Lisa! It will be okay I am sure I will miss it too unless I sneak my kindle into my room….

Sneak it in, Girl. This is a once in a lifetime wonder. Sneak it, Girl.
Julie DuVall / Ontario, CA
I would sleep with my Kindle but the router is right next to my bed and I don’t really want to sleep with all those electromagnetic waves bombarding my head! I wish I didn’t have to work tomorrow, I’d just stay up on “foal watch” all night!!
Sierra is upset and pacing
You guys are at 99,833 I mean once the foal is born I am sure that number will get to 100,000 but we need it before then. Can you like something more than once or do we need new people to like her page?

LOL, do not fret…I just figured out why I kept losing people…three hours later. I couldn’t even post..I thought the site was going to crash or my puter was.

Z – Love the pixs today of you and your dear Ann in her too cute overalls. I’m doing my own pacing as well as I’m sure the rest of your fans and I’m sure I’ll cry for joy when our long awaited little bundle of joy arrives!

Hi all – I am no computer wizard but I did want to offer another suggestion for anyone (well, ALL of us) who is anxious to get the big news immediately even if Zenny’s website crashes. If you go to Google on your computer and type in Zenyatta and then pick the option for “news” you will see an option at the bottom of the “news” page to set up a Google news alert. Set that up for immediate emails to be sent to your chosen email address whenever news breaks and you should receive the word as soon as it hits any website! That should help when the traffic peaks on this site.
What a moment of pure joy to see dear Ann side by side with the big mare – what a lovely bond and how lucky we all are to have this incredible champion in our lives. Godspeed to you and your little one, Zenny! Lots of love, Linda in NC

I like the idea of chain phone message about the news…the site will crash after it is announced so I may not see the information. ;-D

Where is Terry Crow? Where is Gary Moulton? Men just cannot handle these things like we women can. Anyone can tell just from this Diary alone how strong and in control we are. Hear us Neigh, Hear us Neigh.

You got that right! Neigh!

You are correct. In numbers too great to ignore…

Pretty soon Lanes End will have a photo of the fabulous Zenyatta and her new star foal.
Can’t wait!!!
This is getting so exciting.
Lisag in Texas just trying to breathe
Hoping to see the reaction when she see her baby. I still remember someone posted that her mare looked so surprised when she saw her foal.
Everybody is in KENTUCKY tonight.
Terry Crow
Kentucky is definitely the center of the universe right now.

Queen Z, can hardly wait!!! Everyone is so excited. We are waiting for you to foal. I love you so much, you always bring happiness to me.

Called my Sis in AZ to “Like” Z’s FB, she still has not done it and I posted everyone to do it on my FB. Tonight she says she will, well she better.
Told her to stop by here, and she better say Hey, she might not know I am watching. Not a threat, just an observation!!!
Vicki B. near Hollywood Park
Lol, your “observation” sounds closer to “radar”.
Sierra is digging a hole to Kentucky
Okay that’s it I am digging a whole to Lane’s End! Who is with me? I cannot miss this!
Lisag in Texas just trying to breathe
Wait up, Sierra…Wait up
Sierra is digging a whole to Kentucky (Maybe)
Okay that may be a little extreme how about I dig a whole to the library where they have tons of computers. So I could have each computer open with a site that could break he news.
Debbie G/Kentucky
I’m with you! I’ll even bring my own shovel!
judy berube from Rhode Island
Dear Sierra:
Too funny. I am picturing you with a parka, scarf, cap and shovel digging a tunnel in the snow. Ha, ha. Hugs, JB
Vicki B. near Hollywood Park
If I thought it would work, I’d be right there with ya, Sierra! I have a real good shovel, but I know from long experience that I can’t dig a whole hole fast enough. Course it depends on if the ground is sandy or clay. Maybe if we got a backhoe?

I must say Ms. Zenyatta, I had a very busy day up in Ramona visiting GOLDEN EAGLE FARMS, home of Stormin Fever….. You were on my mind all day. I have just such a feeling about you that today or tomorrow will be the big day and after perusing some ( if not all) these posts it does seem that it will be soon.
I am so happy to see your DEAR MOSS’S there at Lane’s End for you. What a momentous occasion this will be. I totally believe the computers will crash over your birth announcement. 60 Minutes will definitely have to do a follow up.
My best wishes and prayers for a safe and speedy delivery.
Seeing some of the filly’s and colts born in Jan and Feb @ Golden Eagle, so sweet next to their Mother’s. Soon it will be you and Tasty. So, no treats right now. I must say you look so marvelous.
Lori Piedra , the person that escorted us on the tour, the vet tech and I believe the farm manager, was such a dear. We really had a great in depth visit with some beautiful horses and had our picture taken with Stormin Fever. I brought 10 pounds of organic carrots for them!!! I think we were Stormin Fever’s new best friends. H was a very good boy. He is so fit and handsome. He does love his carrots. Lori gave us baseball caps in their colors!!! We saw Best Pal’s grave and some of the other mare’s final resting spot. It is so dignified and peaceful. They love their horses so much too.
It was pretty cold out there today, but nothing like you have right now.
You and your human Mom are the picture of love and devotion. Kleenex box is in use at the moment.
What joy I see in this picture. We await your news with breathless anticipation dear girl.
We will be patient………
Terry Crow
ah Best Pal. What memories he brings back. Second in the Kentucky Derby is not too bad.

So close…. I think once we get it on either the Thoroughbred Times or the Daily Racing forum that she has 24 hours we might get more people…

someone needs to post it at http://www.horseracingnation.com. You can join for free I have a login but for some reason I cannot comment anymore I don’t know if it’s my computer settings or what. You can type Zenyatta in the search box and post it under her name in the comments and all on the site will see.

Hi Z the Queen, mommy to be:
I am betting on a baby girl. I am guessing March 10th, that is my Kittys b-day. Her name is Rainy Sky.
We would love to meet you next time we are in Kentucky. Hope it is possible.
God Bless you and Your fabulous owners. They are your best friends and will stay by your side forever. Carol and Joe
