Happy Sunday to all!
My visitors are so sweet. One gentleman, Jimmy Lee, who came to see me a few weeks ago judges horse shows throughout the country. he just sent John a book titled: The Look of Eagles. At the end of the book and the closing comments…he added a photo he took of me. what a wonderful gesture!
I did do a bit of jogging yesterday and will do so today. It is great to stretch my legs.
The weather here is gorgeous. It was almost 80 yesterday.
Wishing everyone the best!
Hugs~

Dear Zenyatta, You brought me back to the love of horse racing. If you are retiring that is great news because you will leave the sport with no injuries. I could be selfish and want more races but your health is the utmost concern. You proved yourself to everyone and retirement is what I hope and wish for you!!

Dear Zenyatta, I love you so much! You have helped me through tough times. You mean the world to me. I hope you win hoty. You have deserved it ever since you stepped foot on the track. I hope you have a wonderful, long life. I love you!

Zenny, I love you so much. I’m truely one of devoted followers. I’ve been a horse lover since a child. Saw (on TV) Secretariat run. I rode, showed and trained horses. You are unique.
I have such emotion and love for you. You touch everyone’s heart.
I thought about dressage many times for you. It’s great for your conditioning. And, you can still be a mommey! You are so talented, you would love dressage. Apparently many agree. Most of all, be very happy as you are now. You have the best owners and team in the world. You, and your team are all very blessed.

So glad to follow Z and hear that all is well. I think the Queen has earned her retirement and is blessed to retire sound (thanks, John:) Will be missed, but it’s best for her. PLEASE have another retirement farewell, but earlier in the day so we can take better pictures!

Thanks for still posting some diary entries post season. It’s such a upbeat bonus to hear about your days in these dismal economic times. You’re a sweet, warm star that shines brightly, giving our days that little something extra. Hope John posts videos of you every once in a while from Hollywood Park so we can “see” how you are. Take it easy, stay safe, and enjoy retirement.
Michelle
Zenyatta, I am so proud of the race you ran in the Breeders’ Cup. You showed the whole World what a MAGNIFICENT race horse you are.
Michelle
Z, You need to tell somebody to fix your race card information. The Breeders’ Cup from 2009 is wrong. We want to make sure you get credit for beating all those boys last year.

Hi Zen!! Love this Diary!! I am going to miss you sooo much it just hurts!! Zenny, you need your own jewelry line! After all you are a girl’s girl! Would be great to have lockets and such so we could pass those down. How about t-shirts with: “Zen for the Ages”. It represents the fact that you will live throughout time and the fact that you love all your fans..big and small!!Well…don’t want to bore you with my ideas! Have a great time girl…I’m here in Ky just praying that if you do indeed retire you will honor us by grazing on Ky Bluegrass! I sure hope that fans will be able to come and visit you!! Would be the thrill of a lifetime. Love you always!!!

Lady Z, thank you so much for continuing your posts. You have given the world the big dose of positive that we need right now. You, The Mosses, John Shirreffs, and Mike Smith have shown everyone that no matter how big or strong, powerful or famous a person or horse is the important thing is to be kind, gentle, generous and loving to everyone. God Bless You All.
Sheri
That is awsome Z! You are awsome! And just like Liza G. Fly said in her song, you ARE the Queen of the sport of Queens and can’t wait for a prince or princess! Love you Zenyatta and whatever happens, wether you race again or not, you will always be the greatest racehorse of all time! Love you Z! :)
Sheri
haha oops in the comment above I put “Queen of the sport of Queens” I meant Kings instead of the last Queens! Sorry!!!
