Z’s baby girl is quite the little character and so beautiful, too. She definitely keeps the photographer in sight and is very photogenic, of course. Zenyatta looks gorgeous and is the most wonderful mama. ❤️

It must be such fun to name a horse. I’ve only had dogs, one of whom is A.P. Andy. The secretary at the vet was a bit confused.
Thanks so much for sharing these great photos. Z looks wonderful as does this sweet baby. This precious little lady has grown so much in just a month. Her coat seems to have lightened up too. I noticed that both her front and rear left feet have black poka dots like Zenny does. She’s a girly girl who needs a pretty feminine name. Just a suggestion, how about “Z’s BELLA GRACE (Bella meaning beautiful)

As one who has worked on a breeding farm and racetrack, and has owned a Zenyatta like Standardbred named Lady Guenevere, words can’t express my gratitude to what you do for the horse industry, Zenyatta deserves the best owners and she has them. Love to yo u all.
Alys takes such interesting pictures. She captures the life and energy of Zenyatta and her foals. The little one is not so little already! She is growing quickly and looks now to be more like the sturdy War Front filly. Look at the picture of her standing on her hind legs pawing at her mama (so long as she doesn’t catch a hoof in that fly mask.) Maybe this one should be named for the people who so love her. Ann should be part of her name somehow. Maybe. As to future sires, if only there was a way to breed Zenyatta to Sea the Stars, though the foal might be a Euro horse. He always seemed to have a great deal of instinct for leadership with a kind, thinking disposition. Manageable aggression, I suppose. Zenyatta was aggressive in races but kind. Or take her back into Street Cry’s line–think Winx. If the off spring would not too large. Its tough to keep what you have and find a sire who complements that without losing traits. Little Z17 is precious. A GottaKeepHer. ;)
