Dear Judy.I have just read Chico has panleukopenia(sp) now it is similar to parvo virus in dogs and is usually fatal for kittens! He was beginning to improve now and doesn’t deserve this. Please pray for him.I am so sad.Hope all is well with you promises hot in places tomorrow but damp for us in the west.Goodnight God bless you LM PC HT Cap Hercules Frank Bentley and all the sweeties.Love and hugs SheenaX
Dear Zenny and family,
Wishing everyone a good night’s sleep and dreams of peppermints and winning races. Has been a very good week. Hope it has for everyone here in the Z Family. We’re getting rain storms tonight, and baby roadrunner roosted early in a good spot in the tree. The horses are all bedded. We leave for Denver later this week, then hopefully will be on towards ‘the wilds’ of Utah to look for wild horses. Love to everyone, Elizabeth
The old self dies hard, and the new one must develop strength to face the challenges of life. Another way to say it is that the new self must develop sufficient “shock resistance.” Give yourself time to become accustomed to this wholly new person. If you fail at first, so be it. Find the grace to rise above that failure and continue striving to live as a new person. So what if you need to start again several times? This is the way of life. You won’t do everything perfectly the first time-no one does-but each time you courageously begin again, your new self becomes stronger. Don’t put yourself down-or allow others to put you down. You are in charge: show the world your will and power to become your new self, your true self. Becoming and being a new and true self is your gift to the world.
When you find anything good in the white man’s road, pick it up.

Dear Kathy.I have failed often but I never allow anyone put me down. That’s up to me!!Another humid day very hot in London about 90F.hottest September day since 1949.I stayed up last night to see little Ellie Simmonds break the world record to win the gold. She was only 13 when she won golds in Beijing and is only 4ft tall.
30(05) arrived home sunday morning and is on her favourite beach already she bypassed her usual stopover lake this time. She travelled nearly 3000 miles in 12 days! Some of the Rutland staff will be visiting the area in January and hope to see her.
Big news over here today is about the Great British Bake-off moving to channel 4 from the BBC.I very rarely watch but a lot are disappointed. They will never get the same viewing figures. Not a lot are commenting on Call me Dave leaving politics.I suppose once you have been in the top job there’s nothing left. How life changed for him because of the referendum and he doesn’t care for Mother Theresa’s policies. Is Hillary getting better?Ray was having a “fight” with daddy today he didn’t want him to go to work. That was great news about so happy he is tolerating the chemo.
Such sad news about little Chico but he is still fighting and they are doing everything in their power to help him.He just didn’t deserve this! The Guiness book of records is out a LLama from Porthmadog has jumped over a 3ft 8in obstacle and the biggest dog is 7ft on hind legs.Naturally a great dane I don’t think she can reach the floor to eat her food.Hope you have a great day.The sun is coming out now.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Angel Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO
90F plus humidity is awful! How is it in Carmarthen? Congratulations to Ellie! I was so glad to see that 30 arrived home. She must be exhausted! Too bad the Bake-Off fans won’t have as good coverage from channel 4. Sounds like Call me Dave will just fade away in obscurity. Kind of sad. Hillary claims she’s feel much better, but who really knows? That was an adorable pic of Ray with his daddy. You can tell they really love each other. I’m delighted that Ray is doing well. I was heartbroken about little Chico. He indeed did not deserve this. The Guiness Book is always fascinating to look at. Have a wonderful day. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Angel Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO
Pretty humid in Carmarthen.A temperature of 94F has been recorded in Gravesend Kent triggering a health warning.I have just visited Marty and Wimbley is improving and taking his medisin. Some very sad news from the BLM about the euthanisation of 45000 wild horses now in holding pens to make room for mega beef farms and you the taxpayer are funding this genocide. They are often held in 100 degree heat with no access to shade or water.Disgusted.What is it with the human race?Hope you all enjoy your beefburgers!!!Hugs Sheena
Stay as cool as possible! Wonderful news that Wimbley is better. Oh my goodness, that wild horses story makes me sick. I don’t think I’ll be eating any beefburgers anytime soon. Hugs, Kathy
Little Chico has died.He was overcoming human cruelty and abandonment but succumbed to panleukopania.as you can imagine Viktor and the team are devastated and any future animal they save will be in Chico’s name. Here is a lovely photo of his little face(no signs of his injuries)RIP sweetheart. No one can hurt you now. http://www.facebook.com/ViktorLarkhillOfficial/

Dear Kathy. We learn more every day of our lives.A much sunnier day in Wales and warm too. There were so many storms up north yesterday. We talk about climate change yet what was happening in 1911 I heard it was a very long hot summer.Turns autumnal by the weekend! So much variety over here.Larry has got some new bling a collar with a bell on it so everyone(including Palmerston) will know when he’s out and about.I had signed that petition about the wild horses some time ago now it’s on FB.Your cattlemen are very similar to our farmers they think they own the countryside.Anyone who can send a lamb to slaughter cannot respect the animal kingdom. We have a badger cull taking place in England at the moment(not in Wales)this is to keep the farmers happy and save paying them compensation for dairy cows lost to TB.Our wildlife is so precious. They can never be replaced like cattle.
Did you see the story about Hillary using a double when she left Chelsea’s home on sunday? I thought it odd she was out in the street with no security surrounding her.I think she is back campaigning tomorrow.Mother Theresa continues to cull Cameron’s cronies. The ratties are enjoying Wimbley’s medisin!!
It was so sad to lose Chico but there will be many to take his place. He was such a sweet kitty.Gorgeous cover photo of my pom pals and lovely B/W pics of Mouse.Mango got a lot of mail and donations while she was away.I loved the Zoeism today my mum always used to tell me to say”I think I can” and to believe.

Muchie’s (MMM) little half brother just sold for $2 million. And he has a half sister, Southern Girl, who is turning into quite a racehorse. Out of Tapit but looks big like Muchie. Must get the size fro Ponce de Leona.
Dear Judy:The Glaslyn family looked to have left this morning. There has been no sign of them all day.It was lovely and warm, perfect for their long trip.So Mi Dar was back in devastating fashion today. The Lloyd Webbers would enjoy a trip to the Breeders Cup but will leave the final decision to John Gosden.Another Frankel baby won today Atty Persee trained by Roger Charlton.Take a look in the email I forwarded about the story of the 3 little kittens,So touching.Goodnight God bless you LM PC HT Cap Hercules Frank Bentley and all the sweeties.Love and hugs SheenaX
This is interesting news. TDN says that Al Kazeem ranks third in average yearling sales. Only Galileo and Frankel are ahead of him. Al is clearly doing super work! Proud!
Thanks for this great news Max.Al is doing really well and he has always been the pride of Wales.Even prouder of our boy now!
Max
Wales should indeed be proud. I’m very happy with this news. Al is a truly wonderful horse. I recall that he worked so hard to return to the track, even running up and down hills to get back into form. Everyone remarks on how good looking that Al is, and his offspring are like him. Hoping it just gets better for him. He deserves it.

Dear Kathy.Only I know the real me and I surprise myself sometimes with the things I say or do.I have many secret places.I overslept this morning again and shopping day too. Also I bought flowers for the cemetary so I was late getting home.It would be my parents 75th wedding anniversary tomorrow and my grandfather’s birthday on Saturday.Being it was a lovely day(promises showers tomorrow)it was worth me going.
It is very lonely without our ospreys I have.nt checked on Kielder yet.We had a great day at the para Olympics yesterday 9 gold medals.I saw this Danish woman with no legs taking part in the dressage called Stinna Kaastrup and she was excited to get a bronze medal.It’.s so humbling.Zoe has cooler temps than us only 64F and we are in the 80’s.The good ole’UK hotter than Arizona!.I loved the ratties sharing a cookie.Have seen Fibbs on linkedin? He describes himself as President ob the world and a weather forecaster.Lovely video of Otto the dog in his new home he was terrified of humans when he got to the clinic he lost control of his bladder he had seen his sister die in a hunter’s trap. It’s a joy to see him so happy.I am sure Ray will be glad to get home my mum hated hospital dad just about tolerated the place.Thinking of Ray and Cheryl and sending prayers.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Angel Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO
