Last fall we held our sixth annual Zenyatta Celebration, raising over $40,000 for Retired Racehorse Project. Five participants were chosen in a random drawing to win the grand prize, An Invitation to Meet Zenyatta. Each winner was invited to travel with a guest to Lane’s End Farm to meet Zenyatta and receive a tour of the farm. These photos document their visits. Photography by Alys Emson.

Hi all; There was something that just called to me tonight to check on Zenyatta. I know I am not a frequent participant like years ago, but when I do have a moment I love coming back home.
A lot of sadness I just read, but I am hoping all of you are doing well.
I still volunteer at CV horse sanctuary but in addition my two adorable 2 month old twin grandbaby girls draw me to them to pitch in too. (I am too old for this! ha)
