Last weekend was the 10th anniversary of Zenyatta’s 2009 Breeders’ Cup Classic victory, and we were at Lane’s End Farm to celebrate with The Queen herself.
Zenyatta was delighted to receive her Sports and Racing Elegance Award. Thank you Breeder’s Cup and all her fans for supporting and honoring her in such a beautiful way! She thoroughly enjoyed every moment!
Meanwhile at Santa Anita Park, fans converged for the official Breeders’ Cup Zenyatta 10th Anniversary Celebration.

Love these pictures!! Ann and Zenyatta both look fabulous!! My husband and I attended the 2010 BC, and we were lucky to meet John and Zenyatta the next morning on the backside. Although Zenyatta fell just a hair short, the weekend was wonderful and exciting beyond belief. I’m so thrilled that Zenyatta is obviously (still) receiving the care and spoiling that she deserves :) Continued health and good luck to Zenyatta and her connections. I’m looking forward to seeing Zellda on the track in 2020 and the new Candy Ride baby, too!

Thanks for sharing these wonderful pictures- so nice to see our Queen with her mom, Ann. Nice to see the group picture from the Zenyatta statue although yours truly is just about buried in the back?. It was fun to spend a few days in sunny but VERY dry California with some of our Dumpling friends. Had one big win with Blue Prize and should have stuck with Vino Rosso (sigh). So many of those horses are now retired – hard to believe it was the last race for so many including, sadly, Mongolian Groom. Wish we all could go – what a party that would be?. Got to see Zellda on the track and chat a bit with “our John” and Dottie – such great folks❤️❤️
