Seems like the Mattress Mac team maybe trying to
stretch Runhappy out and start him on the Derby
trail.
Glad Maria Borel has an attorney to try and recoup
some of the $$$ from the winning purses.
Although, it appears the trainers percentage of
the purse money is a bit controversial. The purse
money goes to the owner and the jockey from
the track.
Z13Rulz
They’re about a year too late.
The Triple Crown races are restricted to 3 year olds. Runhappy will be 4 in 2016.
Tizgood
Sorry for misspeaking on Runhappy’s next
race; the plan is the Malibu Stakes at Santa
Anita.
Tizgood
Dear Judy,
Just checked on Mr Commons and he is getting a break; no
works or planned races yet. No plans at least yet
to drop him down the ranks.

Big problem for Mr Commons is his sire; Artie was
difficult in a lot of respects-to train etc…. but a talent.
Mr. C has a lot of his traits-JS has the patience of job.
Hopefully things will turn around for him.

todays devo :
God loves you like a perfect friend – “I have called you friends” (John 15:15), “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” (John 15:13).
People will never love us perfectly. And when they don’t, it’s easy to assume it’s our fault. We tell ourselves, “I’ll try harder to be perfect so I can be loved.” But that’s a path that will lead us nowhere except to burnout and frustration.
Yes, we do need perfect love. But we can only get it from one place: God’s heart. You don’t have to live in fear anymore. Instead you can believe by faith . . .
God is for you.
God is with you.
God loves you beyond all you can even imagine.
Right here. Right now. As you are.
Excerpt from Holley Gerth’s new book: You’re Loved No Matter What: Freeing Your Heart from the Need to Be Perfect

Dear Sue, Loved your message. Perfect love casts out fear. If we accept that God loves us just as we are, we will understand that our love comes from Him. All of us are imperfect, but we yearn to be perfect – in our behavior, our friendships and all of our relationships. Once we believe that He does love us – unconditionally, it frees us to be loving toward everyone else. Since we live in an imperfect world with everyone having the choice to accept His gift of love or not choose to accept love – it’s an imperfect world. I see such love in this ‘family’ of Zenny’s – such encouragement. Zenny is the perfect example of God’s creation – she knows and feels love, and she gives it so freely. All of the members of Team Z show such kindness and love and respect not just for her, but for her fan family. How could anyone not love coming to visit this website?! Thanks, Sue and I pray (as always) His blessings for you and everyone on her website. with love, Elizabeth

Thank you, Sue, for reminding us of God’s wondrous love for each of us.
Seeing our Zenny grazing so peacefully in that beautiful pasture just produces such a calming effect. What a beautiful Queen she is! We can see her baby bulge is growing.

Dear Tizgood,
Actually, my email showed Mr. Commons worked at Belmont Nov. 1 4 FL 54:04 Rank 64/64. Depressed to see it. That says it all.
LauraJ (Cincinnati, OH)
It’s not necessarily a bad thing. If he’s just coming off a layoff, they probably want to start him off slow.
Tizgood
Thanks for additional update on Mr Commons;
I checked equibase earlier today and did not see that
work. I agree with Laura J and trust JS as a trainer
and as a person.

Mr. Commons last raced in a $90K Allowance Optional Claiming race on October 10, 2015 at Belmont. He did not race for a Tag. JS will do what’s right for him. Love and Hugs, JB

Dear Judy.Gorgeous pic of Mei and Bei-Bei.He’s adorable.Love and hugs.Sheena.
Deb E.
Bei Bei a.k.a. Tank is such a precious boy. He’s taken a few tumbles onto his head in the past few days which has caused the newbie panda watchers to panic that he’s sustained brain damage or seriously injured himself. That’s what panda cubs do, fall! It toughens them up, and Tank is so densely packed he couldn’t hurt himself if he tried. His sister fell out of the top of her favorite tree this past weekend and is none the worse for wear. Mei Xiang and Tian Tian love fallling out of trees or breaking tree branches, so it’s an inherited trait!

Dear Team Z and all who have made this Zenyatta celebration possible to Z’s fans; Thank you so much for all the sunshine! It has been an exciting few days to see if one’s dreams come true. And now the waiting begins until tomorrow.

Marshall, Judy and Ann. Sorry I have been absent lately. My opinion of the Breeders Cup is that the racing was great but the betting action was not nearly as good as in the past. I went to the first one at Hollywood Park in 1984 have seen them all. It always seemed that no matter which horse you bet on it had a chance. I didn’t have that feeling this year. Too many short prices for my taste. The Classic lost a lot of its luster when two of the main contenders scratched. You might be a redneck if your toilet sits on your porch. You might be a a redneck if your doorbell looks like a deer’s butt.

Oh Terry, Welcome back! I would have cashed a lot more tickets in the BC if it hadn’t been for the dratted Eruos and the truf. Did cash on Stephanie’s Kitten. Can’t believe Ken Ramsey sold her to the Japanese. Also made a little money on Grand Arch.

November 5 Cherokee Devotional
Secretly, we are afraid others will see what we know is true-that we don’t have what it takes. The Cherokee says we are not u wo hi yu-we lack confidence and we suspect others can see it. But no one can do everything-and, even if they can, they seldom do it.
What we fear, others fear. Our needs are others’ needs. Out thoughts, our worries, though hidden from view, are not in the heart of just one person-but all. There’s no need for a stumbling block. We may not be superhuman but we are spirit, and spirit has no limits. Spirit is not dwarfed by circumstances. It has all power and makes us worthy.

Dear Sheena,
Happy Guy Fawkes day. Sorry the weather isn’t cooperating. Glad to hear it’s so far so good for Red. Prayers for his recovery. Zoe is such a delight. You can see she genuinely loves people. What a bright ray of sunshine she is! I know Judy and Nay will be glad to be home. Hopefully the physical therapists can work with Grandpa and get back some mobility. We’ll look forward to finding out what Mango’s surprise is. My heart goes out to the tourists now stranded and the families who have lost loved ones. on the Russian plane. Happy birthday CNSM! Cute video of Wimbley being stroked. They call it chuffin’ and wifflin’ I think they said. At any rate he’s really into it! lol Nice quote from Wimbley, too…”You’re not rich until you have something money can’t buy.” Truly brilliant. Happy Friday Eve. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO

Hope everyone had a wonderful Breeders Cup weekend. Not able to get out much. Missed first 5 races Saturday due to weather. Large tree upended on power lines. More rain coming this week. AP was so magnificent. So was Runhappy and Songbird. The saga of Runhappy’s trainer makes me respect and appreciate Jerry and Ann Moss even more than I already did and that’s saying a lot. Love you Zenyatta and the boys.

Definately agree; Z’s maternal line does not mix well
with Bernie. His fee was dropped to $80,000 for

You have found your delight in the Lord, and He has placed within you the desires that are from Him, for Him, and can only be fulfilled by Him. Dear Judy B.; I could not the post of you visiting Charlie and Hudson. I always love to hear about this.

Judy Berube from Rhode Island
Dear Sally:
I visited both Hudson and Charlie today. Hudson is doing great and Deb took her over some jumps in the indoor ring. They have a show this weekend in Connecticut.
Charlie must have been up to his old tricks teasing his paddock mates. He likes to tug on their tails and manes. As a result, he has a baseball size bump on his face where one of the horses kicked him. Angela said it was much more swollen when it happened last week than it is now. He has a cut too. He did enjoy his carrots and muffin treats and I gave him a hug and kiss and told him to stop pestering his mates.
Hope you can figure something out to stop the goats from destroying the horses hay nets. Love and Hugs, JB
Sally B. (Auntie cherishes Z and her young)
Judy, oops, it is suppose to read could not FIND the post.
Sally B. (Auntie cherishes Z and her young)
Just got back from a CV horse meeting with all the basic discussions. However, a couple of hay nets have been destroyed by the two goats Blackie and Brownie by biting and opening up holes in the nets. Some one found a goat sticking his head into the hay net. They have had there own in their stall area but don’t eat out of it but rather out of the horses. It was a concern that one could get stuck. I spent 2 hours attempting to repair them by using the toughest boot shoe strings I could find. I found the knots all bit up and a hole developing again. Outside of us contributing to purchase new ones, does any one have any thoughts??
hugs, Sally B
shirleeinindy
SallyB,
My experience years ago on the farm was that goats will eat almost anything! Wish I had some tips for you but ours just chewed their way through everything. Were great at keeping the weeds down that none of the other livestock would eat. Also, understand they are great companions for horses. Good Luck.

November 6 Cherokee Devotional
Autumn sunshine warms the woods and brings out the elusive woodchuck to sleep on a rock slanted toward the sun. The downy woodpecker thumps on a hollow tree and a doe huffs as she slides her hooves through a carpet of autumn leaves. This is the season of mellow fruitfulness when seed fluffs drift on the breezes, and grasses colored rose and beige bend and bob.
Whether it is nature or human nature, it is a time of subtle change, a time when geese take to the southern skyways and man tries to predict the severity of winter. But back of it all is a loving Spirit who tells us to be anxious for nothing.
So why do you ask us to leave the rivers and the sun and the wind and live in houses?
