Not at all surprised at Coz’ being “confident” with Z as his mom!!! Z13 seems to have that same look, as well!

So much to look forward to with Z14 arriving soon, Coz in training and maybe we will see him in the starting gate this fall, and ‘Little Red’ getting more handsome each day. I had read it the other day and felt such joy and pride for all the comments about how well Cozmic One is doing in his training. He is growing up to be such a beautiful horse and it does seem like he has inherited so much from his wonderful mom. I will be anxiously waiting for the photos of your visit and details of the trip. One more time, thank you so very much for all you do to keep all of us who love Zenyatta informed and feeling like we are remotely in touch with her life. Speaking for myself, I love her so.

It’s just impossible to think where I would be without you and your team. For one thing, there would be no Zen family here and the connection to so many kind and wonderful people whom I met through you would never have happened. And we have all shared so much with one another as life happened to each one of us — so much love, kindness, generosity and support.
Team Z — your agreement to allow Zenny to run her very last race in memory of my dear friend & colleague Marjorie Dawn Cooper Gawley remains so beyond any words I can find and I still tear up looking at pictures of Zenny with Marjorie’s name on the headband of her bridle. And Zenny — in my humble opinion, you ran the race of your life that night at Churchill Downs and the whole world knew they had seen a champion.
Cozmic One — you have grown into a perfect blend of Zenny and Bernie. You are so handsome and so fearless already, and once you move to John’s barn, you will be nurtured with all the love and skill that John, Steve, Mario and Carmen poured into Zenyatta. I just can’t wait to witness your first start and so thrilled to know that it will come exactly when you’re ready.

Dear Kathy.I used to love hearing old stories from my grandparents.We tend to put our elderly in care homes now and forget about them,something unheard of in my time.I had put a birthday message in for Z this morning and it got deleted,that’s the reason I put Why up!!!Poor Momma/agent is getting nervous before Joey’s check-up hope all goes well with his scan. A friend of Fubu crossed the rainbow bridge Sable was 18yrs old but we never want to lose them do we?Fubu is still not eating his dry food he can’t continue for long is such a shame.Marty certainly got me fooled!!!clever boy!Did you see that dog on Zoe’s page that was just tied up and left by a kennel how cruel is that??Have a great day.Hugs to you,Kisses for the Puppy Pack.Sheena.Have been baking a cake this morning!

It is a shame, but a lot of people of European ancestry do not value the aged. We could take a lesson from Asians who for the most part deeply respect their elders. Wishing The Queen an happy birthday and remembering fondly the surprise of 13Z’s arrival that same day! I hope they both have a wonderful day. Best wishes for Joey’s check-up today. Sympathy for Fubu, and little Sable’s humans. RIP, Sable. 18 years was a nice long life, but you’re right…we never want to lose them. Poor Fubu. There’s just not enough nutrition in gravy. I feel bad for him and his mom. Marty and his humans are in the spirit of April Fool’s day. Clever, indeed. I did see that poor dog on Zoe’s page. Can you imagine being tied up and having to watch your people drive away? I hope that precious baby gets a wonderful forever home with people who will love him properly. Have a good day. @pamhomeier-Sorry I missed your post on the previous thread. Yes, it all depends on what you are used to. Earthquakes can be devastating, but those electrical thunderstorms and twisters that I experienced while I was living in Kansas were just as bad and more frequent.
