Happy Friday!
For nearly three weeks now, Cozmic One has been able to call John Shirreffs’ barn at Belmont home. He’s settling into a relaxed training schedule, where he is permitted to learn and grow at his own pace.
We welcomed him off the truck from Ocala, FL at the end of March and met up with John and the crew at Barn 41 again yesterday. We hope you can share in our experience through the photos and videos below.

Wow, great photos and video. I love hearing John Shirreffs talking about the horse and how to develop him. I can’t believe Zenyatta’s first baby is on the track. Be still my heart!!! Our baby boy is about grown up. I still say when he starts racing that I want him totally wrapped in bubble wrap so nothing can ever cause an injury to him ;o) He owns a huge part of my heart!!!

Thanks so much for the videos and the great pics of Cozmic One. It was great to see Jerry there with Dottie to tend to him. Seeing John facing Coz head on was really cool. I think that he has a really good mind on him like his mama and he prances like Bernie did, it will be interesting to see how he matures and understands his lessons in regard to the racetrack. He is in great hands.

Loved the pics and videos. It looks like he will get some dressage training like Z did. I only say that because, John had a dressage whip in his hand when he was walking him. Such a good boy, Coz!! Can’t wait for the rest of this chapter in his journey. Best of luck to you, young man.
