News of Hovis.Despite being a fidget he got his MRI and there is no fracture but a lot of damage to the cartilage plus an oedema,It means lots of box rest and medication but he will be home tomorrow,Get back to normal soon Hovey.Hugs

You, too, Judy. According to my calculations, the gestation estimators indicate a range of March 29 and April 13, with the “average” being April 7. Of course, there is also the possibility this foal could arrive on her birthday, a la Ziconic, which would certainly be within the average gestation period for a mare. I know we all pray for a healthy delivery. I guess the signal will be when Ann goes to KY for he foal watch. Pacing….pacing….pacing…!!

It is such joy to see the love between Ann and Zenyatta. I know it is a comfort to both of them to be together in good times and bad.

Just look at my special girl and her special girl! So pleased to see new photos and always of Ann and her Zenny. The bond between these two is so strong and so special that it just pours out of the photos in a lustrous stream.
And Zenny — you look just fabulous! And I can the indentation of a “sweet somebody” in your tummy in a couple of these shots too.
I have to say that I join the “hoping-for-a-filly-brigade” although a healthy baby and a delighted Zenny is always my first priority. But I do come from Welsh roots and seem to have an uncanny knack for predicting the sex of the unborn — a perfect record, in fact — and I do feel filly at the moment. For what it’s worth.
But one thing is certain: with parents like this, baby is going to be a real beauty!
Thank you Team Z for remembering Fan Abigail and keeping me up-to-date on how my Big Girl is doing. Beautiful photos that tell such a loving story brightened my day!
