    Yorkhill faces another schooling session before the festival after some blips today.Djakadam really pleased Willie but Bellshill fell and was walking gingerly. Mullins will see how he is in the morning.

    March 6 Cherokee Devotional

    Remember when you do anything, there will be someone that will find fault, no matter what you do. The pleasure of an unhappy person is to find something wrong in others to salve his own discontent. The Cherokees believe that tests sharpen their wit and help them a s qua dv, win or triumph over opposite powers. It would be beneath them to accept criticism as something they must overcome. The Cherokees flick it off like to si, pesky mosquitos. We all try to understand our differences of opinion, to care what effect we cause in other people. But the bane of anyone’s existence is ignorance-our own. We want more than anything to correct what we know is wrong. And what we find wrong in others may be a reflection of our own wrongs.

    Dear Kathy.Such wise words today.Hovis has over 5000 friends!Karen posted a clearer pic of his featherless leg it is on my timeline somewhere.He must be listening to a lot of radio 2 today and for the next 8 weeks I should imagine.Not a bad day but lots of rain promised for the week it will all help Cue Card.Poor Milo has been framed but the great news is Bo Vine has found Ka.Tell she was in Hershey PA producing lots ob milk for chocolate.The Aliems helped him.I have shared a tear jerking video of a dog called Edie who was rescued from a shelter she was sooo frightened and her fur matted .She was terrified but all she needed was a hug.It’s always best to get a rescue they all deserve a 2nd chance.Do you remember Ripley’s brother Felix he has to visit a specialist this week his chemo had to be stopped because of problems with his liver and he has trouble with his sinuses.He may need major surgery on his liver.Now I may be wrong but I wouldn’t allow a cat with cancer to suffer anymore than is necessary.He is 13 after all.Ripley is good and is happy to see his brother home.The Brooke have raised nearly£17,000 for the donkeys in Kenya.Sheikh Hamdan lost Ertijaal over the weekend sesamoid injury.Trevor Hemmings’s National winners all had different trainers Hedgehunter is 21 now and lives on the Isle of man with Ballabrigg.We had our budget this week first won for Gladstone’s boss Philip Hammond.Mother Theresa really should remind President Hollande of Waterloo,Trafalgar, Agincourt and Crecy.He is very bitter about brexit.Crufts this week I think very quiet race wise until the Cheltenham roar next week!Remember to turtle in your socks.Love and hugs to you.kisses for Angel Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXOXOXODyfi are putting cameras up this week they had an video from 2011 of Dai Dots no sound then.Nora’s 3 chicks were there Einion,Dulas and Leri

      Yes, I saw the additional pic of Hovis’ leg. It will be a long 8 weeks! At least some good will come of all the rain! Good luck, Cue Card! Yes, I saw that Milo was framed. Cute pic! I read the Bo Vine story. I’m sure the ratties will enjoy the specially made chocolate bar. I saw that video of Edie and commented. Poor little girl, I’m so glad it was a happy ending! I do remember Ripley’s brother, Felix. Doesn’t sound at all promising. I agree…they should let him go. Good news about all that money raised for the donkeys. Sorry for the loss of Ertijaal.     March 7 Cherokee Devotional

    The first thing in the morning when our feet touch the floor, our feelings begin to feed us impressions. Not only do they review our situation in a few seconds, they decide if this is a good day or if it should be one of anxiety. This is the precise time to hush feelings and paint the day the way we want it to be-not to be fed from the negative side. We tell the wrong impressions that they are not acceptable, that we feel different than we have in the past. This is a new day and we are free and happy, able to change what needs to be changed, to do what needs to be done. There are times when we must go against our own feelings and dictate what we will have, shaping and reshaping the hours as we see fit.

    When I make peace, it is a long and lasting one. There is no end to it.

    So happy that Dortmond is with Art and his stable. Nothing against Bob Baffert, but in a smaller stable, Dortmond is the big horse in more ways than size. We know he will be well taken care of. Can’t wait to see how he does on turf.

    Dear Kathy.I have always tended to be a pessimist so you can imagine how I feel in the morning.My first thought is where the heck did the night go!!!It was a joy to Quevega’s beautiful colt this morning.We have been waiting so long for news.I was so excited I didn’t realise he had just arrived before midnight a month overdue!Douvan is by Walk in the Park as well.She is a very attentive mother.We haven’t had a lot of news about her lately I even thought she had left the stud.
    We heard today George Michael died of natural causes heart disease and a fatty liver so at last his funeral can be held.His lifestyle most likely.
    Very quiet racewise this week.Someone had asked if she could visit Hovis as she was in the area but hadn’t realised he was on box rest.Her Majesty was out and about riding she ignores those who advise her to wear a hard hat.If she cannot make her own decisions at nearly 91 I feel sorry for all the PC brigade!Boo is still losing some friends the Human is not posting enough I know he still has 17 million!Sprout looked so sweet as a puppy.Poor Miss Brenda has had a mild heart attack did.nt
    she lost a dog recently? Earl Grey asked if his human wanted a mouse with coffee this morning and someone commented her cat left a mouse on her face and the whole neighbourhood must have heard the scream when she put her specs on!I used to get live mice with Katie we had a difficult job to catch one once.Furniture was moved and a big broom used don’t get me started on the live snakes!

      I’m pretty optimistic but I, too, wonder where the heck the night went! lol Quevega’s colt is so gorgeous. Wow…a month overdue??? One would think someone miscalculated, but of course they knew exactly when she was covered. That’s good they can go ahead with George Michael’s burial. It sure would be nice to get to visit Hovis. Yes, I saw on your page where Her Majesty was out riding. I don’t know of any other 90-year-olds who ride! Truly amazing. Human needs to post more. Poor Boo! 17 million is still very impressive, though. Sprout was a gorgeous puppy and of course he is drop-dead gorgeous as an adult. Too bad about Miss Brenda’s heart attack. I think you’re right in thinking she lost a dog. Cats love to bring their humans the various critters that they catch. They’re always s proud! Cute pics of the ratties and their chocolate bar. I don’t recall hearing the outcome of Fibbs’ lump. Felix is a very floofy kitty. Loved the video of the dogs avoiding their baths. Have a good Tuesday.
