Dear Fans & Moms,

Just like you, we love birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, first days of new seasons, and many other celebratory occasions—but we think Mother’s Day is so, so special.  Especially when you are THE Queen!

Happiest of Mother’s Days, Zenyatta:  Your Z-Family sends you Love, Hugs, Kisses, and SPECIAL wishes!

Zenyatta so appreciates her own Z-Family, but also holds everyone’s family dear.  Wishing Mothers everywhere, near and far, two-legged and four-legged, an incredibly special Mother’s Day.  And even though this year many of you are not sharing this special day together, the love and bond shared for one’s mom lives in our hearts.

    HAPPY Mothers day to you and me. I’ll never forget my daily visits with you at Hollywood Park when we were both so much younger. Thanks to John shirreffs and Mario, My daughter and i were with you almost daily. And you were always winning, and winning. And then you won the Breeder’s cup classic. Hope your human MOM, Ann Moss will be with you on this coming birth!! I will be with you in heart and soul!!! I have met a lot of your babies, COZ, Ziconic and Zellda who is getting ready to run!! God be with you and bless you. We love you so very much!!!

    What really cute videos from all of Zenny’s kids! Fun to see how everyone got into the mood for Mother’s Day. Zellda loves John and nuzzled his ear, knocking off his hat like someone else used to do! ❤ The countdown is on for a new sweet little foal soon.

    Love the photos of Zenny and her family. Bet that new little girl will be here any day. It will probably be a day or so afterwards before we hear.

    Just watched the Mill Ridge video. Saw their American Pharoah filly running like crazy in her field. Saw Fancy Face and Pistol. Pistol has gotten so big! Enjoyed it so much as usual.

    Decided to try to color my hair last night. Won’t say much about the results but at least the white streak on top that made me look like a skunk is gone! Never mind what color it is.

    Everyone be safe and have a good day. As usual it is cloudy and windy here with 4 straight days of rain coming. Where has the sun gone?

      Thanks for the Hovis Humour (notice the UK spelling)! Honestly, I think he is excelling in his colorful descriptions more and more. Love that “blowing out like a puffer fish with flatuence” image. What word mastery!
      If his mum has gained weight as I have, Hovis is very wise to adopt “diversionary tactics”!!
      I have got to exercise more — maybe next week? ?

      I also read the other most recent articles (there are 3 others). He wrote about California Chrome, Silver Charm and Blame. Superb articles! I admit getting misty-eyed reading them.
