Did anyone see the Colt that Mandy Pope bought at the sale yesterday. Oh my goodness what a beautiful Colt. And out of an Affirmed mare. I could just lose my mind. Just dearly loved our Affirmed. This colt is just gorgeous. Watch out this one looks like a winner. Another Grand Old Chestnut as Max says
Oh my forgot who his sire was. I saw Affirmed in the pedigreee and just lost it.

Bellamy Road is the Sire.

Has anyone heard from Keta lately. Did I miss a post? Hope she is fine.
suew/Va
Keta posted in the forum yesterday.
shirleeinindy
Is she perhaps back on the Blog with a different name? Some posts sound like her. I sure hope so as I have missed her.

I think you are right…she is with us
Pati-College Girl
I think she is resting from the AZ heat and allowing herself time to recuperate and regroup. She’ll return to us when she is prepared. I believe that all is well with her.

Dear all, I did get an e-mail from Keta and she is indeed fine, I’m glad to say, and I know she will be pleased that you are asking about her. I invite Z-sters to e-mail me at trinambn@yahoo.com –I hope you’ll take me up on this!

@Sue Fl CPRC – I have tried several times to sign in to BC fantasy capping but it just won’t “take” – I even got a temporary password and it still didn’t!! Apparently my email worked out to get me a temp password but couldn’t log in at all!
I really want to play again, it was a lot of fun! Don’t know how to proceed. Will wait to see how you make out.

Good morning, all:
Here is a non-horse story from the UK that will brighten your day. I hope they get this program off the ground here. It is so needed–more so every day.

Wow! How would you feel if your horse jumped the fence and started running with the bicyclists in the Tour de France???

This is so cool..

Great article – we could take some lessons from what the UK does for the elderly.

Great article about Dementia Dogs, Barbara! I work at a library and we have dogs come in for our BARK (Be a Reading Kid) program. The dogs are certified and they just lay there quietly while the kids read to them. The dogs are non-thraetening and non-judgmental and the kids relax and improve their reading skills. God bless all dogs. Such precious gifts.

Best thing ever! BARK!! The kids love it.
Barbara Wood (Texas)
Sounds like a great program.

Barbara,
One of our BARK dogs is a tiny pomeranian with a
“Boo” haircut. ADORABLE!
Paul
Great Videos!!!! I can’t get enough!

Dear Kathy I adore Boo and his friend Buddy!!! they’re too cute!!!hugs Sheena
Kathy
Good morning, dear Sheena!
I’m a hardcore Boo and Buddy fan. LOVE those little guys. They have PERSONALITY PLUS. Two of my furkids are poms (Holly and Nikko), our third dog is a maltese/poodle mix (Sugar). That is a dangerous combination…mischievousness of a Maltese and the intelligence of a poodle!
Hugs back, Kathy

carol-The same thing happened to me. I received an email stating Sue had asked me to join but when I went through the process nothing happened. I guess it takes someone more mechanically inclined than I am. When somebody successfully signs in to the team, let the rest of us know so we can do the same.
Sandy (Northeast Ohio)
It’s not just you guys – the process hasn’t worked for anyone so far. Stay tuned.

Dementia dogs? I’ll probably need one soon.
Barbara Wood (Texas)
LOL! TC–just checked out Jeff Shaara’s latest on Vicksburg from the library.

Dear Kathy Remember Elizabeth Taylor had a Maltese called Sugar!! Your furkids must keep you on your toes!! Boo has well over 7 million friends now Amazing!! hugs Sheena
Kathy
Dear Sheena,
Yes, I do remember Liz’s Sugar! Never a dull moment with the furkids around. Boo is indeed a rock star. And to think it all began with a haircut because his fur was a little matted!
Hugs,
Kathy

Can I ask why Zenyatta is in foal again so soon? Three babies in three years can’t be healthy, surely? Speaking as a mum, can’t she get a year off to recover after this one? Seriously, I’d like to ask the experts just how many foals is it normal for a brood mare to have? I know with breeding dogs etc that you’re supposed to limit the number of times they are bred so that the mum’s health is protected, (and I also know that dogs have typically multiple pups at a time!) but what are the healthy norms for horses? Is money the driving factor?

Coz is growing up so fast! He’s beautiful!

Has Coz started his training yet? Or is he going to be sold at the Keeneland sales?

Hi: Have been on vacation (month 1 of 4) and have been able to keep up with Zenny & sons once a month. I miss them & am so happy to see that all are doing well. Thanks, Ann & Jerry for all you do in sharing them with us. I miss all the comments of all her fans. But, I am enjoying my beach vacation. Wish you all were here! LOL

Why Is Z13 not gray or has he just not turned gray yet? What age do they have to be until you know they will not change color?I think I saw a picture of Dunkirk and he was still chestnut a year after he was born.Just wondering because I was praying this colt turned gray.
Rachel C.
Z13 is chestnut, and will remain chestnut. If he were to grey you would know as soon as he shed his foal coat.
Nancy
Thank you to the powers that be that produced all of the above videos of Z, Z13 and Coz. They look so well and happy. 13Z is just as laid back as Z and Coz. Gotta love him. I loved the videos of Coz the most as we see limited pictures of him. He looks just like Zenyatta! He is a beautiful boy with a lovely long neck with an elegant head on top of it. He looks great in the slope of his shoulder and his hind quarters look big and solid. Looks like he is going to be tall like Z. Hopefully John will be his trainer when he is ready. The only other trainer I’d like to see handling him would be Graham Motion.
I hope every has a wonderful day and sweet dreams of Z and her sons.
