Happy Friday!
We’re pleased to share photos of fans Jackie Camacho and Allison Folkman visiting Zenyatta at Lane’s End Farm. As the winners of NYRA’s Meet the Legendary Ladies sweepstakes, Jackie and Allison received a trip to Kentucky to meet both Rachel Alexandra and Zenyatta and a two-night stay at Stonestreet Farm.
Jackie became a fan of Zenyatta and watched many of her races with her sister who has since passed. She takes the little pig figurine pictured here on all of her adventures as a way to honor her sister.
The next opportunity to win an audience with Queen Z is just around the corner… Stay tuned for details about the upcoming 2016 Zenyatta.com Celebration.
Enjoy!

October 15 Cherokee Devotional
What makes us look with greedy eyes on something that won’t mean a thing after a few hours? We strained toward it, we thought it would give us joy. But now we find it hard to live with-and we wonder how we ever could have wanted it so badly. Greed is a frightful enemy, an enchanting siren song that can lure us into dark ports. Watch and be wise.
The wisdom we need in order to face greed is not just human wisdom. We must have spirit wisdom, which reaches far beyond our illusions about what is real and what isn’t, what we need and what we don’t, what will satisfy us and what won’t. Trust that spirit wisdom is available to you. Simply ask and it will be given.
Give me the strength to walk the soft earth…the eyes to see…and the strength to understand.

Congratulations to Sheikhzayedroad who won the Long distance race. Not one of Ryan’s best rides on Order of St George who was awash with sweat before the race.It gladdened my heart to see Tom Queally win the champion sprint on the Tin Man named in honour of the immortal Fred Archer.Great to see some of our Olympic champions there too.
Max
Happy also to hear this about Tom.

A flying dismount from Frankie Dettori as he wins the Fillies&Mares on Journey. The bookmakers are very happy so far today.George Strawbridge was there to see his filly,Some unallowed substances have been found on certain trainers. All the horses will be tested before running.Jean-Claude Rouget was one named also Hugo Palmer.Fascinating Rock has been withdrawn from the Champion Stakes.

A winner for Aidan and Ryan in the QEII.The exceptional filly Minding wins in style her 7th group one and 21st for Aidan in a calendar year.Champion stakes next. Her Majesty presented the trophy.
Max
One of those 21 wins was a jump win. Very few trainers can come close to Robert Frankel as a trainer or a human being. The guy was entirely self man. He was devoted to the care of horses and his dogs. He also has a connection to The Queen through Dottie. Let’s hope that he keeps his record.

Almanzor wins the Champion Stakes with Christophe on board. This son of Wootton Bassett will stay in training next year Could try the Arc next year maybe?Found was 2nd but Ryan was not hard on her.Jack Hobbs was 3rd.
Sandy (Northeast Ohio)
Sigh . . . . for a moment, I thought she was going to get him! Wonder if she’s coming to the BC?
sheena.davies(wales)
The team will have to talk about the Breeders according to Aidan. She is super consistent! So proud of her.
Max
This is the second time that Almanzor has won against her. Racing again so soon was pushing it. Few horses come out of the Arc with fuel in the tank.

News that 30-yr-old Quiet American has been euthanized. No mention of why, so probably infirmities of old age.

Very lucky ladies! Zenny looks thrilled to have visitors. I visited Claiborne Farm about a week ago and got to see Blame in all his glory (did you know he needed round the clock security after defeating Zenny?) That is unbelievable. Also visited with War Front over his paddock fence and fed him a peppermint—he is a sweety. Fed Trappe Shot one also—he is gorgeous! They showed us the breeding shed where Zenny had a date twice with War Front.
Also visited Old Friends. Everyone should visit if they get a chance. Horses were shiny and very happy. Came running for their carrots. Silver Charm was amazing and loved all the attention as did all the horses. Jerry and Ann Moss were given credit for all they do to help the retirement farm.

Love seeing pictures of Zenyatta. I have been a fan of hers for years. She has got to be the kindest and smartest horse ever. She loves people and she loves the camera. I think it is so cute how she loves the camera. I am so glad she is enjoying an awesome retirement life….and that is thanks to her kind and caring owners, Jerry and Ann Moss. Thank you for sharing “Z” with us. I am glad these ladies got to see “Z” up close and personal….and it was shared with us fans.
Sandy (Northeast Ohio)
Bravo to these very lucky ladies for winning and to Team Z for arranging the Lane’s End part of the visit. Great to hear that another opportunity may be in the offing for the rest of us. Thanks for posting the wonderful photos!
