    I was so thrilled for CA Chrome yesterday and he looks so wonderful! All seems well for our FB furbabies. I’m very worried about poor little Oliver, however. Many prayers going up for him.     Dear Kathy.There are so many pathways in my memory especially the ones from childhood.I had to wait up last night to see if Chrome won.It was a good race for him especially after a long lay-off.I hope he will travel well to Dubai this year.
    Have you heard about little Oliver he may have cancer God bless him.He does have kidney stones.Great story on Joey about the cat who loves living in a store and I also found Brutus the Morrison’s cat from Saltney in Chester who has his own answering service!He’s got about 9000 friends now.Everyone is getting worried about Fubu still no news.The ratties had to recharge their batteries but they were still finking about stuffs.I went on Boo’s page last night haven’t visited in a while some lovely pics of them over the holiday season.Hope you have a blessed Sabbath.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO

      You really did wait up late! What was it? midnight? 1:00 AM? Chromie’s race was thrilling at any rate and he certainly looks magnificent. Yes, I read about the mass. Poor little Oliver. I hope they’ll be able to help him and he’ll have a few good years. At the very least he’s with a wonderful family…I saw the story about the cat living in the grocery storeI’ll have to look for Brutus. Hopefully we hear from Fubu and Kimberly soon.     Dear Judy, I sure do hope Beholder wins this Saturday. I think she will.
    I am so happy too, to hear that Sheer Drama is coming back for 2016. Hope its a good year. With a number of them being still in Ocala, their just going to have to round them all up. Ha. Sure looking forward to seeing Rachel’s Valentina too, and wondering if Jess has gotten back to New York yet.

        • Dear Shirlee, yes absolutely think Beholder will win. But I am just over the moon that Sheer Drama and Stop Charging Maria were nominated along with her. Such an honor to be with Beholder. What an amazing horse. I just find it hard sometimes to go against a member of the Chestnut Club. Read Sheer Drama is Bucking and running like crazy in the field. She must be ready to head to Gulfstream or Louisville.

    So happy for CC’s big win at Santa Anita. He is such a gorgeous boy and looked amazing after nine months off and all the traveling he has done. Hope this shuts up all the nay sayers……it is a real treat to see a Derby and Preakness winner coming back for another year!! Love this boy. hugs

    According to Mullins Supreme Novice favourite(hurdle race)Min is turning out to be one of his best buys.His French experts Pierre Boulard and Harold Kirk took an interest in him because of his sire Walk in the Park.A real bargain for Mullins and the Ricci’sThis is the horse that you saw in Max’s video yesterday.Sheena

      Min and Douvan share the same sire.
      Min’s jumping form is impeccable. He seems to like running from the front. Mullins says that he’s a horse with a lot of gears. We certainly saw that yesterday at Punchestown. The only thing that he wants from Shorty is to let him race. The horse knows how to win.

        Dear Max.Yes,I know they have the same sire.That’s why Mullins was so keen on him.When I think of the team he has for the festival I get the shivers with excitement of course.Only 8 weeks away.Min is going straight to Cheltenham.The big dig is starting at Seville’s tomorrow!Sheena

        • Before Cheltenham, Nichols Canyon, Faugheen and Arctic Fire are racing against each other in Ireland on January 25. It looks like an all Mullins horse race. We will see if anyone else enters.
          Mullins also announced today that Min came out of his race in good shape.

      Love this devotional! There is a wealth of wisdom in these words, and I will try very hard to remember this sage advice. Things would go much more smoothly if we could learn to follow this path. We do tend to get defensive much too easily — I know I do.

    Dear Kathy.As I get older I find I care less and less what people think of me.Sad to hear about Bowie this morning I found him rather weird especially in the Ziggy Stardust days but a sad loss nevertheless.His ex-wife Angie is on our reality show Big Brother she is sooo foul-mouthed!I put a message on their FB “You call this entertainment???”
    So sad to hear K-9 Jethro passed away yesterday.I only heard about him last night he was shot 3 times apprehending a suspect during a robbery Yes guns again!!Funeral details later.Mr Al isn’t so good his age is against him I think and Zoe is not allowed to visit plus Oliver has to visit the dogster again and Diane is still coughing!Mr Fibbs was on the phone about Mondays they really are coming around too quickly these days.I made a new friend called Felicia over the weekend she lost her horse Asher on Saturday he developed a blood clot on his spine after surgery on his leg and had to be euthanised he was only 18months old and had been with her 7 months.It’s so hard when you think you are doing right by an animal and they die.He is on FB called Asher’s journey.Still no news about Fubu It’s very worrying especially after the announcement post.Remember to turtle-turtle but try and have a good day.Love and hugs,kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO

      Dear Judy.L loved reading this.As you know the Coolmore empire was founded on the success as a sire of his famous son Sadler’s Wells who died just 4 days before his famous grandson Frankel’s amazing 2000 guineas win.Of course Northern Dancer sired our last TC winner Nijinsky.His legacy lives on one of the most influential sires of the 20th century.Love and hugs Sheena

    On a better note. On twitter/ClockersCorner, there is a picture of Ziconic during his work. It seems a bit strange as he appears to be running in company with several other horses????? You can also find it under Ziconic over on the forum.

    Something strange going on with the ClockersCorner photo. One time I click on it and it is Ziconic alone, another time it is him running with other horses. Think someone is doing some “funny stuff.” The one photo makes it appear he is in an actual race!

    Golden Slipper winner Vancouver is set to join the stable of Aidan O’Brien in Ireland and will be aimed towards Royal Ascot.
    Quarantine details are being finalised right now with Vancouver likely to do a fortnight here (Australia) before jetting out to Ireland.
    Trainer Aidan O’Brien will aim Vancouver towards Royal Ascot but he’ll also look at other European Summer Carnival races.
    Obviously connections are hoping to make Vancouver into an International stallion. Being Slipper winner he’s secured his breeding lines here
    James Bester @CoolmoreAus told @SkySportsRadio1 maybe a race like Queen Anne at Royal Ascot would suit Vancouver but Aidan O’Brien decides.

    £1 Million Boost To Royal Ascot Prize Fund
    Ascot Racecourse today announces that Royal Ascot prize money has been increased by £1 million (18% uplift on 2015) this year, bringing total prize money on offer to a record £6,580,000 over the week.
    Also unveiled today are plans for the new Unsaddling Enclosure, a £700,000 project that began earlier this month and will see a new, purpose built area in operation in time for the 2016 flat season.
    ROYAL ASCOT PRIZE MONEY
    As well as record prize money and an overall £1 million increase over the week, for the first time, every day at Royal Ascot will offer prize money of at least £1 million and none of the 30 races will be run for less than £80,000 (£60,000 in 2015).
    Headline increases include:
    Prince of Wales’s Stakes – £750,000 from £525,000.
    Queen Anne Stakes – £600,000 from £375,000.
    Diamond Jubilee Stakes – £600,000 from £525,000.

      Mullins might be interested in this news. He’s not just a jump trainer. He loves making a raid on England. In June 2012, he ran Simenon at Ascot and won. Four days later Simenon ran again at Ascot and won again. Ryan Moore was the jockey.
