Happy Wednesday!

We’re so happy to share the news that Zenyatta is 36 days in foal to War Front. She was given a full year off following her last pregnancy and was bred in April so that her 2016 foal, her fourth, will be born in the spring.

For everyone as excited as we are, we’ll have plenty of updates to share along the way.

    What Wonderful News!!!! We all have been waiting for this day, and will follow her closely. It would be so wonderful if she would have another girl, but which ever the sex, it will be the greatest, because it’s part of her!!

    So happy to hear the news. Thanks to Team Z for keeping us in the loop about our Lady. Hoping, as most are, for a filly but a colt will be just fine too. Are any of you all out there knitters? Perhaps start work on a pink cap???

      Saw that too. LoPresti says that Dan is looking very good. He’s in top shape for a horse who has been off for about 6 months. I figure that he will be back by Saratoga or it could be sooner.
      The Beast may be back by the end of June or early July.

    Wow this is early! Fabulous news! I don’t know if I want another girl or what. Guess we should ask Z and War Front what they think…it’ll just be hard after losing Princess if we have another little girl. But I will accept her no matter.

    Well, sorry Z sweetie, no more Guinness for you. Hoping for another girl this time of course who we can spoil and pass on your superior genes. Ann will be there for her too for sure. Well, you’re longtime babysitters from so many faithful years are here for you. We will concentrate on your well being which is the primary purpose of this site that Dottie created and so so miss. Tears for how it used to be. Miss those who used to visit. Sob. It was all things Zenyatta. This is her site, right? I rarely see her mentioned anymore by people. So sad. People converse to each other about personal issues or horses in other countries only they know about. For that reason, I rarely visit anymore. No point. TG Team Zenyatta sends me and her loyal true fans emails regularly. Hey, already know the “hall monitor” cracks are forthcoming so… know who you are. Lol.

      Hi Linda!
      If Zen is already over a month pregnant and she’s to carry a foal for a full 11 months, my guess would be March again :-)

    Getting news of Zenyatta in foal and Wise Dan’s ready to resume galloping…..! Could this day get any better????

      I am not the Mosses, but—-

      They’ll no doubt stop breeding her when they and their vets determine that breeding would be detrimental to her health, or when she no longer gets in foal easily, or when they’ve achieved whatever goals they have set for her offspring. Once she’s retired, she’ll be with other pensioned mares, probably.(unless Ann Moss gets her way, in which case she’ll live out her days in Ann’s back yard).
