Happy Wednesday!
We’re so happy to share the news that Zenyatta is 36 days in foal to War Front. She was given a full year off following her last pregnancy and was bred in April so that her 2016 foal, her fourth, will be born in the spring.
For everyone as excited as we are, we’ll have plenty of updates to share along the way.

What Great News! I’m hoping for a filly. If this question has already been answered, sorry for repetition, but am wondering if Zenyatta’s dam past away last year, as some fan reported on a blog. Again, this is not a fact, but at this point, only rumor. Thought perhaps some one at Lanes End might know.

Folks checking into this…..so far completely unfounded rumor

Thanks for checking as I cannot find any evidence that this is a true statement.

Dear Kathy.Gosh, you were up early today! That’s about the time I go to bed!!!I’ve been thinking of Lola all morning and praying the operation went well,It would have been about 12.30pm over here.We had very heavy showers last night but has cleared up now Monty was incubating when I looked in.Gosh, that gentleman was wonderful born when the Titanic was being built.it’s hard to believe now that ospreys were extinct in the UK in 1916.Such a success story. If only more of the youngsters could survive..Treve is well-prepared for her comeback.I follow her on FB trying to improve my French!
I could see your comment about the dog Ronzo on Mango’s page. How on earth could that be allowed to happen???He’s fighting like little Gizmo the foal though.I pray he will pull through.Skye arrived home she also made the local news on the BBC.Those evil peeps need SERIOUS treatment!Miss Kitty is having trouble with FB again losing “likes”.Hovis loves Herman the German really. His mum injecting him YIKES!!I loved the “bark to order” fooled a lot of people.Zoe’s team was playing again right?I can’t keep up with them!Have a great Friday.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO

Treve makes a wonderful start to her season by winning the Prix Corrida at Saint-Cloud.She did look magnificent before the race.Tres Bien!Sheena.
Kathy
Dear Sheena,
I was up extraordinarily early today as Steve was departing for Porterville and then on to Nevada City for the week. My tail will be dragging tonight! I am thinking about and praying for Lola and Judy today. Anxiously awaiting word! That’s so great the ospreys are doing so well. And such a joy to read about the gentleman who has been blessed with such a long life. Fingers crossed that Treve’s comeback will be successful. Poor Ronzo’s story is so disturbing. I pray he can survive and then can be adopted by a loving family. Prayers for all the animals out there fighting to survive man’s brutality, Continued prayers for Gizmo and Skye. That’s too bad Miss Kitty is having FB problems. Hope it all gets corrected! the “bark to order” video was really funny. Have you seen the one about the “intelevator”? Another hilarious video. Yes, Zoe’s team played and it sounds like they won! You have a great Friday and weekend ahead. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO

Why did you chose War Front as a sire for her foal? What made him stand out above other contenders? Does his line carry the X factor?
Kathy Baldwin

Ok….. After American Pharaoh won the Triple Crown yesterday it has got to be said.
When can we expect to see a Zenyatta, American Pharaoh foal? What could be better than a foal between these two? It would be a crime not to breed these two together.
Jeremey
After she gives birth, and takes a rest, she needs to be bred with American Pharoah. Could you imagine what that foal would be like??
Breyer lover
Dear Zennyatta’s Owners
Can you please bred Zennyatta to American Pahroah? That would make a GREAT foal! Thank you!

I’ve been following the z queen blog but never commented on it but to the point. I’ve never thought imagined Zenyatta being breed to another stud besides War Front but I can’t wait if they do I wonder what the foal will be like and which side of the royal family it will take after (:
Becca Lynn
I think someday Queen Z should be bred by California Chrome I bet with triple crown winners in the blood may boost up the competitiveness in its racing career like its mother and sire and how beautiful the foal would be as well :D

Was so happy to hear the news of Zenny’s fourth pregnancy! So many well-wishers hope for the same thing; an easy pregnancy, an uncomplicated birth, and a healthy foal, and if it’s a filly, you won’t hear me complaining. I still miss ZPrincess, and with this great news, am finally able to put into words all that I felt when I heard about her death, but I’m afraid there isn’t room. Besides leaving behind a sorrow so deep and visceral there are no words to describe it, the thoughts of “what might have been”, tortured me along with the awful realization that “what might have been” is all there will ever be for our Princess. What is left behind are the memories of a glorious filly who left us much too soon, and the hope that we can look forward to the birth of a new foal come Spring. I love you, Zenny!

To the owners of this beautful mare, please breed zenyatta to a lane’s end stallion like maybe curlin? Or maybe one of the farm stallions after she has her war front foal? Thanks again, horse lover lisa kane.

I am so slow, called Affirmed before the Kentucky derby FOR the Triple Crown, and this year, the morning of the Derby, called American Pharoah for the Triple crown. And woke up today knowing the big beautiful Zenyatta must be bred to American Pharoah! Came here and see I am not original. How about it? Read “Aristides” as a child, a list of Kentucky Derby winners to the date of publication in the back. Compelled to memorize that list and have called every Derby winner since then, just did not call Secretariat for the Triple before the Derby.
Sincerely,
Victoria E. HAMMOND
