Have you ever had a good idea that just keeps coming back to you? Maybe you don’t quite know what to do with it. When you try to push it away, the idea keeps coming back. When that happens, it’s time to pay attention! There’s a reason this idea keeps coming back to you-probably because Spirit keeps bringing it back to you.
Try talking with it. You may be amazed at what you’ll learn. Take a notebook and simply ask the idea, “Why do you keep coming back to me?” and then wait for an answer. Write that answer down and ask another question. Before long, you have a regular conversation going with the idea. Some call this intuition, some simply an urge, and some believe the idea speaks from their own subconscious. Wherever it comes from, pay attention-because this idea may be leading you to new and better things.
Slowly I perceived that a voice was trying to tell me something. It was a bird cry, but I tell you, I began to understand some of it.

Dear Kathy.Your big day has arrived!!!Happy election.Mr Fibbs has made a delightful video and Manthlet has a wonderful post on her FB all about the US (tongue-in-cheek)I have shared it on my timeline I love the fact Her Majesty doesn’t care for North Dakota!Manthlet is having great fun in Miami and met a few parrots.I saw an interview with Rich Ricci last night on ATR.I didn’t even recognise him without his hat and shades. No emotion whatsoever over the loss of Vautour.Cold and calculating.Just a business to him. These beautiful horses are flesh and blood like you and I.They deserve some respect. Some were asking why was he being fed in a field should have been brought in for food.Maybe Mullins’way I am afraid I have no sympathy for the Ricci’s of this world. This week sees the 10th anniversary of Dessie’s death and he was blessed with the most wonderful connections.Chris Gilbody was at Kempton yesterday and took some lovely photos of Dessie’s and Kauto’s statues.Prince Harry is annoyed with the press what does he expect having an affair with an actress? It’s very cold here today snow expected in parts of England.Have a lovely day.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Angel Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXo.Freddy’s fund has nearly reached a 1/4 of a million now

I recall an interview with Teddy Grimthorpe about Juddmonte. He said that horse racing is not a business for Abdullah. Horses are Prince Khalid’s love and only consuming hobby. He carries around notes about his horses in order to study them wherever he is. Big difference.
Kathy
Dear Sheena,
Yes, thank God it all ends today! Yes, I saw Fibbs’ video. Delightful indeed! Manthlet lives a fascinating life! Hmmm…I wonder why Her Majesty doesn’t like North Dakota? Rich Ricci sounds like a very unlikable character. You’re absolutely correct, the horses deserve so much more. Very bittersweet memories of Dessie, also Kauto. Maybe Prince Harry thought everyone would fall in line with his choice. Not so much! Stay warm, my friend. It’s going to be a pleasant day here. Congratulations, Freddy’s fund! Enjoy the day. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Angel Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO

I heard on FB Mullins lost another horse this week a mare from colic no name though.Sheena
Max
Sorry Sheena. The name of the mare is Ask Vic. Our Vic is another horse.
Max
Her name is Our Vic. She is owned by same people who own Avant Tout. Very bad week for horse lovers.
sheena.davies(wales)
Our Vic was trained by David Pipe and owned by David Johnson.I think the mare who died was Ask Vic another 7yr old.Thank God Frankel was born in the year Juddmonte had first pick.Coolmore would have ruined him.Sir Henry had such fantastic patience .Some owners care deeply for their horses.Shorty has been talking on racing UK.Take a look.
Max
Yes, you are right. Horses to Henry Cecil were beautiful beings to be treasured. He was extremely careful with Frankel and all of the others too. Cecil is like Bobby Frankel in that way. Dogs and horses. Bobby Frankel cared deeply about both.

From Jockey Talk 360 article
With three victories and three second-place finishes, Smith pushed his total Breeders’ Cup wins to 25, more than any other jockey. His success also earned him the Bill Shoemaker award as the most outstanding jockey of the Breeders’ Cup. Smith had previously won the award in 2012 and 2013.
Bluegrass Girl
Also From Jockey Talk 360 article
Last week, Smith led the North American riding colony in both total earnings and stakes earnings. The two-time Eclipse award winner and Hall of Fame inductee is currently ranked eighth among North American jockeys by earnings this year, pushing his total to $12,791,321 in 289 starts in 2016.

Surprised CC’s stud fee is only $40,000.He has won over $14million surely he is worth more.California Chrome LLC are buying mares for him to breed with. There is 5% chance he may race after the Pegasus.

Sheena; I am confused. Why would they already set CC stud fees if they plan on still racing? hugs, Sally B

Maybe checking to see if there is extensive interest among owners of mares. The Chrome has been criticized in the past for a weak pedigree. There may be more money to be had in continued racing.

Stevens Headed To Oaklawn For ‘More Money, More Opportunities’
by Paulick Report Staff | 11.08.2016
Hall of Fame jockey Gary Stevens has announced that he will move his tack to Oaklawn Park for their winter season, according to the Daily Racing Form. Stevens will first ride the autumn meeting at Del Mar, heading to Arkansas before opening day on Jan. 13.
“It’s more money, more opportunities and more horses,” said Stevens. “I don’t have a lot of business.”
Stevens finished 14th in Santa Anita’s standings for the most recent meet, racking up just five wins from 41 starts. He finished second seven times, and third an additional 10 times. One of his victories, of course, came aboard champion Beholder in the Breeders’ Cup Distaff in her final career race.

Don’t study the problem, study the solution. Whatever the problem is, remember that spirit is part of the solution. Emerson said, “Great men are they who see that the spiritual is stronger than any material force.” No matter how difficult or complex a problem is, Spirit knows and cares about the solution. As important as the intellect may be in finding a solution, remember that intellect will never overcome the spirit any more than pride can overcome humility. That does not mean you shouldn’t use your intellect, but it does mean you shouldn’t try to solve a problem by intellect alone. Open yourself to Spirit, and Spirit will lead you to the solution.
The monitor within my breast has taught me the will of the Great Spirit.

PS Baby roadrunner is still roosting in the cedar tree every night – although, he’s not making ‘curfew’ at our home, and it’s getting colder after sunset. He did not roost a few nights ago – so we are wondering if he’s out looking for a mate now.

Dear Kathy.Wow a political earthquake in the US last night.I watched until 3am and the Donald was in the lead .I could have told you not to take any notice of the polls.Remember brexit? But life will go on and Mother Theresa has already spoken to the President elect who could have believed he could win without the support of his own party.I knew Hillary was unpopular but thought she would win.Larry the cat has suggested Canada should build a wall! Both our countries seem to turned against the establishment. Why do so many cry??I have never wasted a tear over a politician even the ones I admire.Hillary hasn’t been seen yet.
Over here we have had snow(in England)heavy rains and it’s still cold!Mr Fibbs had a great party last night. He was shown boting for himself. They say Arrogate will turn into a great champion at 4.I posted the video of poor Max on my timeline the Spaniards make me sick it happens at the end of every hunting season.I pray he will recover but he is spiking a fever. The fund for Freddy is closing today they have asked for people to give to the IJF’s fund instead It really is amazing the amount of money they have raised.Hope you have a great day eating all your doughnuts!Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Angel Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO
Marshall (NC Broad)
Dear Sheena,
HC won the popular vote, but the electoral vote is what determines the win.
I may declare Nov. 9 a “national day of mourning”. Oh well, hope for the best — the deck was stacked for the last few years, but now it is really one-sided. The next target is the Supreme Court. Be afraid, be very afraid since all three branches can be controlled by one extreme.
I much prefer horses and dogs; they are straight-shooters without malice. There, I am done with this.
Hugs and Love
Kathy
Dear Sheena,
Oh. My. God. Yes, the Brexit vote is very reminiscent of this political earthquake. Yes, life will go on. I also thought Hillary would win. She is clearly qualified even if she is unpopular. Larry’s suggestion of a wall in Canada is pretty smart! Hillary is supposed to speak soon. I saw on Willow’s page that it was very cold in the UK. They live in Cornwall, I believe. I’m glad Fibbs partied last night. I’ll bet the doughnuts were really flowing! We’ll all be keeping our eyes on Arrogate! I saw your post of Max. Breaks your heart. I join you in praying for him. Congratulations to Freddy for all that money they’ve raised. Have a good Hump Day. Yes, I’ll be eating several doughnuts! Love and hugs from me, kisses from Angel Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO

Galileo Daughter of Goldikova Earns Rising Star Tag in Chantilly Unveiling
TDN Wednesday, November 9, 2016
Terrakova found a comfortable slot, stalking the leaders from just off the pace in sixth, after the initial strides of this debut. Nudged along once into the home straight, the 4-5 favourite eased closer passing the quarter-mile marker and engaged a series of gears inherited from her illustrious dam to settle the contest in a matter of strides with 150 metres remaining, stretching out in hand to register an impressive 3 1/2-length success from Amaani (Fr) (Le Havre {Ire}).

The second article is about Toowindytohaulrox, a 5 year old colt who was euthanized after sustaining a catastrophic injury working out at SA. Lovely light bay, very sad loss.
RIP beautiful boy

Here is the answer thanks to Azaria
“That’s a completely different horse, not Goldikova’s colt Goldikovic. That one was a 3-time raced British-bred gelding by Noah out of Featurette. Goldikova’s first born is in training with Freddy Head like his now winning baby sister.”
Who knew there would be 2 horses with that unusual name!
Robin LOVES Zenyatta
I agree with all of the comments about how sick we are all feeling today. Let us find comfort with one another here, and hold tight to love in its many forms, including with our Queen.
HC’s speech today was simply amazing. Tim Kaine was also wonderful.
I cannot even say his name. It truly is a nightmare. His behavior and values do not reflect American behavior and values. In his world, for him to win, others have to lose.
He has no religious faith and no moral compass. He has put hundreds of small business owners out of business while enriching his own. And he preyed on peoples’ fears and yearning for the old days in order to get elected.
I just read an article about how to deal with all of this. Believe it or not, some basics that help are getting enough sleep, eating right, and drinking water. Find someone you can talk to about the worry. And pray. We will stick together in all of this.
