Protection is not a weapon or a locked door-or even a ferocious appearance. Protection is from the inner person. It gives an invisible sign that this person is not vulnerable but a presence that defies sedani, or evil. Security is not easy to define. It is not foolhardy and it is not overbearing. But it does have a calm poise that even animals respect and bad people avoid. It is a strength that anyone in his right mind will not put to a test. These are days that speak of caution. Take nothing for granted and wear the protective armor of faith and firm decision. Agitators are as cowardly as they are smart enough to know that you do not prey upon someone who understands the situation and is ready.

I do not want war, but want to make friends.

Dear Kathy.Did you enjoy your sleep-in?I’ve been posting on Coz’s page.Just heard the devastating news that the Moose has been retired!!!One refusal too many!He was a joy to watch digging his hooves in before a race.Nigel said he’s such a kind and gentle soul and works well at home but….It was a glorious day at Cheltenham.Boo and Buddy survived the storm despite the lack of power.Zoe was in a sulk because her mum was working bless her!Fubu’s mum is ill got a bug so he’s nursing her!!
I love Marty’s new cover photo and he’s still famous on buzzfeed.I LOVED all the stories, always cry when I see Christian the Lion.Animals have the most pure souls.Joey used to be so laid-back on TV didn’t he?He adored his time with Tom.Hope you have a grat Saturday.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.Sheena.

      Dear Sheena,

I did enjoy my sleep-in. That is devastating news that Moose has been retired! Very upsetting. He was indeed a joy to watch. And we were deprived seeing him all those months that he was banned. Just awful. I’m glad the day at Cheltenham was glorious. Boo and Buddy were happy that eating didn’t require power. What troopers! I know Zoe loves her Daddy but I think overall she’s a Mama’s girl. She’s always so excited when Mommy gets home. Fubu told her mommy that she would catch the bug for her. What a sweetie! Marty’s new cover photo is beautiful. I’m crazy about the Christian the Lion reunion. Joey was very laid back. Tom must be missing him like crazy. Poor guy. You have a nice rest of Saturday and look forward to a blessed Sabbath tomorrow. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy.

Thank You. I will definately keep an eye on Bold Animaux. I notice that he has Victory Gallop on his moms side. NIce. I believe we’re going to be seeing some nice offspring from Leroi. One of the guys at Hallmark told me that they will be waiting anxiously for the Tatterasall Sale from Europe whenever Leroi’s hit the sales ring. I think they are very much looking forward to seeing what the Euro Mares add to this line.

To Max, so true that this site began with Zenny many years ago when I found it with Dottie as her human voice. It was all things Zenyatta and there was so much to share back then. I miss those times when the conversations focused on Team Z and her influence in the industry. Her owners gently remind us of that now and then if you’ve noticed with updates regarding her babies as they grow and mature. They appreciate our devotion so now and then let them know we support other horses but Zenny is and always will be our main concern here. The are doing us favor by maintaining this site since her retirement.

Also, meant to say in my last post, the purchases made in the gift shop financially support this site as has been mentioned by Team Z. So… hint hint, start ordering some Christmas gifts. Team Z foots the bill covering the delivery insurance, so any price is worth the memories if you love our big girl, right?

We cannot see everything from beginning to end. Life is too large to see that far. Sometimes it seems we have to give more than we receive. We sometimes have to reach beyond what we really want to do, or take part of someone else’s load rather than see them break down. Sometimes we forgive more than we are forgiven, and work harder to believe in the goodness of the Great Spirit. We may lose sight of God, but God never loses sight of us. And then there is a burst of sunlight, a new day when we know that giving more is blessed. The scales balance out and we see that we cannot get less than we give when the gift is our best. It is impossible. We cannot love more than we are loved.

If I have these and kept back the best no one would believe I was in earnest. I must give something that I really value to show that my whole being goes with the lesser gifts; therefore I promise to give my body.

Hi to everyone! Have so missed being in contact with you all here in Zenyatta’s Fan Family. Well, have been working on my biggest research project to date, and my computer crashed! The computer ‘doctors’ here locally were able to retrieve all of my files, but it took over two weeks. I now have a new laptop, desktop and both of my old computers up, so my studio is bit ‘scary’ with all of my paper files ‘everywhere’.

Anyway, have so missed you ‘all’! Hope everyone is doing well. Am on such a deadline, but will try to catch a bit of news everyday. I’ve been in Zenyatta Family ‘withdrawal’! Love to everyone and to our Queen, Zenyatta and her Coz and Ziconic
