Dear Kathy.Great devotional.Monday comes around so quickly and I had a late night plus the torrential rain woke me early this morning.I kept thinking of Glesni on the nest but it doesn’t look to have been so bad up there.Good news from Glaslyn the female laid an egg this morning.Mrs G has a new mate now and had been laying ‘hormonal eggs’ but this is the real deal! Also a 2013 female has arrived back near Manton Bay so who knows one of our girls from 2013 may arrive back at the Dyfi! What a race on Saturday all that rain and slop but AP seemed to love it.Keeping everything crossed for Belmont!!Ryan and William Buick had a great Saturday over here Ryan a 5-timer and William 4 wins.Hope your aunt is recovering. Is’nt she due more surgery though?Mango went out on the scooter yesterday with her mommy’s and got some post.It was so sad to read about Bones getting injured saving his owner’s life but now he’s getting a cart plus he survived hurricane Katrina!.Miss Kitty’s got a store now to raise $ for their special food and Marty’s hiding!!I got a lot of turtling to do.Have a wonderful week.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO

Dear Sheena,
Torrential rain…now that’s something I can’t relate to very well! The ospreys are lucky it wasn’t as bad at the Dyfi. So glad Mrs. G laid an egg. Fingers crossed the girls from 2013 make it back. The Preakness was just wonderful. I was so worried for all the horses. AP ran beautifully. Fingers crossed for Belmont! Congratulations to Ryan and William Buick. You’re right, my aunt still has hip replacement surgery in her future. The internal bleeding took a lot out of her so I’m uncertain when she’ll be up for the next surgery. I’m glad Mango got to go out on the scooter. That’s wonderful Bones is getting a cart. What a brave boy! Only the best for him. I hope Miss Kitty makes a lot of money in her store. Marty is so wise to hide. Remember Zeus McGoose? It changed to King Zeus and his Pomeranian Pack and it has changed AGAIN to Four Poms and a Mom. It’s impossible to keep up with them! Have a good Monday and a good week. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO

Kudos to Mike Repole for reclaiming the 10 year old gelding “Be Bullish” yesterday. According to reports he has retired this great old gelding to the NY division of Old Friends. I have visited both the KY division and NY Division of Old Friends and they are so caring for these great old warriors. We need more owners like this! Wonderful story.
