Just finished watching Ride Like A Girl on Netflix. It’s the story of Australian jockey Michelle Payne. She won the 2015 Melbourne Cup with Prince of Penzance; first female ever to win the race. She was up against all the best horses and jockeys in the world, including Frankie D.

seems to be something very special. And Lukas knows how to win the Derby with a filly. Not a secret anymore.

Indiana weather is a lot like that. One day it is 60 the next 15!

We’re having extreme changes in temps here too. High 50s some days and 20s and 30s other days. Many overnight temps in single digits or teens.
Wayne Lukas gave an amazing keynote speech at the HBPA conference. It is on Bloodhorse.com. One day I will figure out how to bring it over to this site??
He really said some very important things. Owners need to take some responsibility for their horses.
