Happy Friday!

Ann’s recent trip to Lane’s End was all smiles as old friends were reunited. Mario and Carmen, who both worked with Zenyatta at Barn 55, joined Ann and got to meet Zenyatta’s 2017 Medaglia d’Oro filly. Scroll down for lots of photos.

      Judy B, Valid the horse is retied. Nik Juarez is not.
      Like the part of the story when Valid was unruly with other exercise riders, Nik would be asked to get on him. His secret reminded me of Mike Smith. Nik would sing to Valid. That would quiet him. BGG

    Cracksman has improved throughout the season and has just won the Great Voltigeur in devastating fashion.He is entered in 2 races later this year John Gosden is undecided as he intends to keep him in training next year.Cracksman is by Frankel!

    A fantastic win in the Juddmonte International for Ulysses.He came with a late run to beat Churchill and Barney Roy.The son of Galileo and Light Shift is coming out to the Breeders cup this year again.He beaten last year in Highland Reel’s race.Congratulations to Jim Crowley Sir Michael Stoute and Maria.

    I saw in one of our local papers today that Mind Your Biscuits was not getting the sleep he needed while he was stabled in his trainer’s barn at Saratoga. It seems that loud music from a local nightspot near his barn was keeping him awake at night. His trainer said that Biscuits was not himself due to not enough sleep, so he moved him to John Terranova’s barn on the backstretch & he is feeling much better.

    Chad Summers also said that Biscuits fancies hip-hop music from the early 2000s. He pricks up his ears & bops along when the music is cranked up on a cell phone when he is being walked. Another new business for Biscuits-dance instructor!

    Moosie came 9th in the showjumping today he knocked a few poles down determined to show he’d not gone soft Sophie actually rode him past the winning post something he reminded us did not happen the last time he visited Aintree Great to see the old warrior having a wonderful time.

    What a day of racing tomorrow is going to be at Saratoga. Just looked at the entries and almost every race has at least 2 of my favs in it. Safe trip to all but especially Songbird, Biscuits, Lady Eli, Lookin At Lee and No Dozing. Have a wonderful time all of you Zsters who are going to be there.
