Sweet fragrance of the land, herbs and roots and medicines long lost to the general populace, are nonetheless as present as they always have been. We have been so taken with miracle cures, these things have been put away as folklore and not dependable. The simple people at one time had no other alternative-so runs the present-day popular notion.
Hard-fought battles over who is to pay for the miracle medicines-and we are grateful for most of them-may turn a venturesome soul back to the soil and back to those things that heal a mind and body without being asked for proof of insurance. But one other thing far too ignored is the power of prayer. No Indian is remiss in blessing his body and his soul and spirit because he knows they work together. His prayer is not now and again but regular and potent.
The lack of respect for growing, living things soon led to lack of respect for humans, too.

Dear Kathy.My great-grandfather was good with herbs.They didn’t have the NHS during my mum’s childhood and he was always making medicines for the family,she would collect the herbs for him.I just couldn’t access Hovis earlier not even on his FB !
CNSM is calling today and they are filming his interview.Mini mother must have confused bless her.Such sad news from Oregon again and peeps ask for MORE guns!!In my lifetime we ‘ve had 3 mass shootings in the UK.Dunblane was very sad where kiddies were killed Andy Murray was in school that day but,of course was safe.
A good draw for Treve in the Arc but not for Golden Horn she’s 8 he’s 14.The drying weather is a worry for me as far as Treve is concerned.Red Cadeaux is going to have a dream retirement if his owner takes up the kind offer 6 months in England(summer months obviously) and 6 months in Australia who could ask for more??Mr Fibbs got into a bit of trouble in Arizona involves rocks from the grand Canyon.Fubu got his Modern cat magazine with his feature in it.The cat of many names is improving treatment is working well and his weight has levelled out now.I am praying hard for Holly and do hope she is improving.Give her a hug and kiss from me.Have a good Friday.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO.Wales beat Fiji last night!!!!

I think the herbs were a lot better for us than having to take a handful of pills. I’m glad your link worked for Hovis. That’s so great he got in some jumping. Yet more killing over here. It’s horrible what depths people are capable of. I’m happy for Treve. Too bad for Golden Horn. Wow, Red Cadeaux would indeed have a dream retirement! Oh man, Someone should have told Fibbs to just look and not touch in the National parks! Congratulations to Fubu. That’s great he has received “his” magazine. I covet your prayers for Holly. Thanks, Terry. We have certainly had rain! It stopped for a short time earlier this afternoon, and just as I was preparing to take Bailey and Smudge for a short walk, it started pouring again. We were rained out once more. All things considered, so far we have been fortunate.
Thoughts and prayers go out to the families in Oregon, also. Sadly, hate seems to be rampant in our poor old world. Kindness and tolerance seem to be in short supply these days. Humankind needs to wake up and stop the insanity.

Again, zenyatta has a sort of blindfold over her head in these pictures.
It seems beige in colour. Yesterday I asked why on page 9 she was wearing a somewhat larger one that was all white. It was the first time I left a message then. Were you going to reply? Also, you require name, email and web site. The last one is baffling as I don’t know what to fill, so I put in zenyatta.com. Was this not correct? I’m from Canada and just this year turned 80, and really enjoy your website but pictures with her wearing these hoods are just curious to me.
