Remembering a Beloved Old Friend on His Birthday

    Invigorate (Foaled March 27 1992)
Gone years ago, but will always be in my heart and soul
Some Pets and people enter the heart and never leave

I met Invigorate many years ago at Old Friends along with Pops and Riva and many other horses. My first of many many visits to Ky to visit the horses
The other day when I heard Pioneer of the Nile had passed away Invigorate just came to my heart as he does quite often. It was like he was saying Don’t forget about me.
Something about this boy just touched my heart as did my boy Quiet American
I was so heartbroken when both of these passed away
But I believe and hold on to the Faith that we will see our beloved horses again that we have lost. I get my hope from a few things I have read in the bible about this. There is not much there on the topic but what is there points me to believe that there are animals in heaven.

    Happy Birthday my beloved Invigorate
Quiet I’ll be sending you huge birthday wishes at the end of next month
    Love You both Always

      Hi Peggy!
Thanks for the reminder about the Florida Derby. This is one of my favorite races because my Dad and I always watched this one…no matter what!!! Fond memories and Northern Dancer got me hooked.
Oh, the greats that have won that race!
Will be cheering for your boy. Go, Code Of Honor, Go!!! Keep them all safe Racing Gods.

I don’t understand how it makes any sense that Ziconic is still on the farm, and Mr. Moss is a business man, which doesn’t make any sense not using a horse in some way. After many people have pleaded to know something, and many times being told he was going to come back in a couple of weeks, and he hasn’t, I’m becoming afraid that something has happened to him. I wish someone would have the decency to tell us something about our beautiful boy. VERY WORRIED!!

Way to go Thunder Snow. Was pulling for you all the way. What a boy. I love the ones who have a bit of a rebel in them. Hope he came back sound and soon will be going to the farm to be a daddy. He has provided lots of fun and memories. So glad colts and horses from other countries are continuing to race after 3. Best wishes to the brave Gunny. He fights every time and is going home with some nice money. Hope he too is okay.

Where or where is The Red Prince?

Congrats to Maximum Security and Bodexpress! That Derby picture sure is cloudy this year. The favorites keep getting beaten and the ones we haven’t heard of are winning. Hope He Who Cannot Be Named stays healthy and does not bomb in his next race. Hope Musto Gusto can pick up some more points and get in. Think this might be the year of the long shot.
