Happy Birthday, Zenyatta!!!

April 1st, today is Zenyatta’s nineteenth birthday. She celebrated with her Lane’s End friends and opened all of her birthday cards. Thank you for the kind gifts and sweet notes.

Also wishing a happy birthday to Ziconic, who is ten today.

    Judy,
    I got the one photo just of the baby, what a sweetheart! And, yes his grandma’s ears! I just wish those who keep this blog going will post photos of the baby, his mama and Ann so everyone can enjoy them!!!! I am hoping they will be more generous with photos of Zenyatta and her little one!!! They always have been in the past. Should be any day! Constant prayers going up for a easy delivery and a healthy foal!

    Dear Z Fans:

    You May remember Cindy Weaver, wife of trainer George Weaver was seriously injured in an accident at Saratoga last year. Great news; she is doing so well and able to accompany him to Ascot where he has two horses entered in two races. No Nay Nets to be ridden by Frankie D. and Crimson Advocate to be ridden by Johnny V.

    Just a thought, I have NO basis for this except my own desire to avoid a 3rd heartbreak.

    I wouldn’t be upset to learn that Zenyatta has already safely foaled and her connections are just now sharing “foal watch” and all the fun of foal watch but with the knowledge that they have a healthy momma and foal to share with us this time around.

    Thanking you to add to others’ expressions of gratitude. It helps so much since nothing is being posted on the blog. Zenny looks so big in one of the photos that I surely hope the delivery is soon. Love her so.
