Hello from Montreal to my Big Girl, Coz, Ziconic, Team Z and my friends here on Zenny’s website:

How lovely to see the boys back in California and home for the holidays! They both look just wonderful — Coz reminding me more & more of Zenny with each photo and “The Redhead” getting stronger and swifter with each passing day. And all around us, the spirit of our beloved Z Princess, who will always be loved.

I’m into the “Christmas Crazies” as I get ready for Christmas lunch with family, followed by Christmas Day…followed by my son’s 36th birthday on December 26. (Yup: I’m a happy “Basket Case” by Dec 27th!) Christmas here looks as if it will be snow-less and, although I’m no lover of cold winters, a little white would have been nice.

I send my warmest Christmas wishes to you all. May the spirit of the season glow in your hearts throughout 2016.

    With love & hugs,
    Abigail

The boys are looking great. Ziconic certainally has grown and filled out. I cant wait to see his first race. Or more likely the replay. I work mid shift and have missed too many races since the end of Sept.

If you look closely at Zi, you can almost see some Bendor spots. He’s looking very well. Same for Coz. Hoping that 2016 will bring the best of racing luck to those two. Santa Anita is a beautiful track.

Dear Team Z and Z Fan Family,
Love seeing the Boys looking so magnificent! Thank you for Zenny’s wonderful website the past several years. It is one of the very best blessings in my life and I know for all of us who check in daily. Wonderful to wake up and see our Queen Z every morning, catch up on the news about her and Coz and Ziconic. Sharing in her life through this website every day and sharing it with all of her amazing fans is such an inspiration.

In Belfast tonight the greatest jump jockey we have ever known AP McCoy received his lifetime achievement award. This quiet, unassuming professional thanked all the horses he had ridden in his career plus all the stable lads and lasses. Many from the racing world attended including JP McManus,Aidan O’Brien and young Joe.He is rare and is missed.Hugs Sheena

Spoof Willie Mullins tweeted well deserved congratulations to AP, calling him the second most important personality in jump racing. The real Mullins came up short on wins today. Maybe the racing gods will reward him on Boxing Day?

Dear Max.Indeed I hope so but this Don Cossack may be difficult to beat and,of course, there’s Silvi too.He seems the forgotten horse now but nothing will ever come near Kauto’s win in 2011.I also loved his Betfair win too because it was unexpected.AP was inspiring tonight a modest man despite his record breaking career.Hope all goes well with Saphir tomorrow.Hugs Sheena

There is a lot of talent in that field and you can never underestimate Nicholls. Should be an exciting race as always. As you probably know, Mullins got an Irish achievement award earlier this week. He says that Annie Power is improving, and will go to Cheltenham in the spring. No word however on the romance with Moosie.

      Dear Sheena,
Such a well deserved award for a really talented jockey- driven and modest.
He is such an inspiration and great representative for racing all over the world.
Love the dressage video- white gloves and long stirrups; no muddy face.

So good to see the boys on the track! Coz gets bigger every time I see him, and Zi looks like he’s enjoying the work. Even more FUN to see Zenny’s Mike aboard! Just brings a smile to my face to see him on his Best Girl’s babies!! Wonder what he thinks of them? Any chance for a few words from him about how he feels, being with Zenny’s boys?? Thanks, Team Z and John and Dottie for sharing The Queen’s Princes with us!

Mike was only on CoZ that one time earlier this year. He’d need to get up for a more up to date impression.

Rather see him focus on Ziconic tbh.

Thank you so much for a glimpse of ‘the boys’. Coz! what a large stride you have! That flowing tail and dark coat, you remind me of your mother.

Zi, that beautiful copper coat, three white sox and big butt! You know who you remind me of ( a sire from a few generations ago). Mike riding bodes well for you.

Dottie, thank you again for taking time to share; Happy holidays; Merry Christmas; Look forward to 2016. Safe and happy New Year to all.

    Dear Z Fans:

Just found this article on a three year old colt called Eagle (Candy Ride out of Sea Gull). He was born at Lane’s End. I’m not sure I’m remembering correctly, but wasn’t Sea Gull one of Z’s paddock mates. Eagle was born in late January 2012, so I’m not sure he was a buddy of COZ’s. Posting the article with replay of his win below. He’s a gorgeous Chess Club member. Love and Hugs, JB

    December 21 Cherokee Devotional

Rebellion rises in us when one of our customs has to be changed. We think even when times were not easy, bits and pieces meant something to us. Leaving it behind means a little of us must stay as well.
Familiar memories can be treacherous. They grip the spirit and tell us we are losing something that cannot be replaced. But therein lies the fallacy. We do not replace what has been dear to us. We fold it in love and put it in safekeeping-while we add something new that has a place of its own. One thing does not have to pay the price for the other. Knowing this, we love what was, and enjoy what is.

Let us both own this place and enjoy in common the advantages it affords.
