Celebration grand prize winners meet Zenyatta.

2020 Zenyatta Celebration

It’s Breeders’ Cup weekend, and our signature event has returned! The 2020 Zenyatta Celebration is now live and brings with it your chance to meet Zenyatta.

This year, we’re raising funds for Hope for Horses of Galt, California. Hope for Horses strives to improve the lives of both horses and humans, preparing unwanted horses for new, purposeful lives while also teaching horsemanship skills to people of all ages.

Make your contribution by purchasing a limited edition 2020 Celebration Sticker. Each sticker purchased is a donation to Hope for Horses plus automatic entry into our grand prize drawing for an invitation to meet Zenyatta!

Visit the Zenyatta Celebration website for details, and keep an eye on the blog and our social media for special giveaways and surprises along the way.

Omg I would give anything in this world to meet zenyatta. What a fantastic horse. I would love the chance to see her. It would make my day. I’ve had a ruff few yrs with both knees replaced and I have scleroderma. Related to lupus. I’d love the chance to meet her. I have horses myself. But she is SO special to me. Linda.

Z is so special. I watched every race she had with Mike Smith. What a team they were. I loved her dancing. She would be a beautiful dressage horse. She would have u on the edge of your seat when she raced but I am glad she was retired with no injuries. Love u Z

My husband and I would go to Santa Anita to watch Zennyata run every race she ran there! We even won a contest at the track and received a beautiful framed picture of her signed by Mike Smith! It still hangs in our living room!

Congrats to this wonderful 7 year old and to Irad. That was a thrilling run to the finish, and the way he was acting after the race indicated that he still had plenty of pep. Congrats to all connections!
Hope Tom’s d’Etat can have a good finish, too. These older horses are like Timex watches — they keep on ticking!

      Hi Marshall
Some say racehorses don’t even get really good until they’re 5 or so?
Sorry to hear he’s a gelding. He would have been a nice sire for the sport. But then he probably wouldn’t be allowed to keep racing this long, would he!

Thanks go to Marshall for mentioning Whitmore. That was quite a race. Also. must agree with JB in hoping that Maxi and Tiz come back in good shape. My husband is named Tom so of course I had to root for Tom’s d’ Etat. Best of luck to him and may there many little d’ Etat’s to come. I don’t bet for real, but I always have a notebook and pencil to follow along and figure out what I might have won. For some reason I didn’t bother this time to do the math, but near as I could tell I would have made a buck or two if I had. Like everyone else, I’m just concerned about the horses and whether they came back in good shape.

Monomoy Girl and Got Stormy were sold at the Fasig-Tipton sale yesterday to Spendthrift Farm. Seems Mr Hughes is planning to race them another year. MG sold for 9.5 M and GS went for 2.75 M. Chicken feed, huh? ?

Glad the horses finished healthy. Whitmore got a little hydrotherapy session when he got home and then his usual vacation-time❣️
