Dear Kathy.I have certainly made many mistakes in my life. The human is not designed to be perfect even though many pretend they are and I love the idea of not cooking!I posted a link on your FB from the daily mail of the banquet last night Kate was in red and even Jeremy Corbyn was in white tie and tails!Shock!Horror! The fiming of James and Bob’s life story Joanne Froggatt from “Downton”is in it.So many are altering pics of Mr No Ears as if to show he was in a bad way with the AGA.I feel they have been too slow.No law says you can “own” a cat I would gone and broken their door down if it had been one of my cats!
Poor Zoe’s cubbies are not doing very well even mummy uttered some bad words .The abventure calendar is out with Marty and the ratties.I ended up with so many calenders last year I had no room to put them. The Dyfi’s will be out in November.I saw a wonderful video of Makybe Diva last night with her Starspangled banner filly and some lovely pics of her too. It’s a long time since I have seen her.Treve will be leaving Chantilly on Monday.I hope we still get news of her.Have a great day.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO

      Dear Sheena,

Thank you for posting the banquet, I will check it out. James and Bob’s life story is a must see. Poor Mr No Ears, I agree, they’ve been too slow. I hope he’s back where he belongs soon. I felt bad for Zoe. She looked visibly upset. Gosh, Mommy came down kind of hard on the team! The abventure calendar looks cute. I totally understand how you ended up with so many calendars. Oh, the Dyfi calendar will be magnificent, I’m sure. The Makyge Diva video sounds good, I’ll have to look for it. Oh, I know you will hate to see Treve leave. I feel the same about AP leaving CA soon. Have a good Hump Day. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO

Papa Mandella is a genius he anticipated the shipping fever- allowed time for it and
hopefully she will have a clear lung scan today and return to the track and be able to
get her last breeze in before the Classic. She is a very big mare!!! She is his favorite not all of them get to have their trainers graze them. She is a puller, too. Best of luck to Beholder in her recovery, completeing her training. These trainers really know their horses.

    info on I’myoursugardaddy:
I got in contact with his trainer Scott Lake n was informed that after his last race
August 31 he came out walking really lame. X-rays showed that he suffered a splint
bone fracture up high n also showed an older injury a chip on the upper joint left
knee. Luckily both injuries are not liftethreatening but his racing career is over ):
To make sure his retirement will be joyful my husband n I have decided to adopt
him. Scott told me the vet gave green light to travel from Delaware to Southern
California which probably will be already next week!
Once he is here we will send him to a rehab farm just to make sure he is healing
well n then we will turn him out to a beautiful pasture at Boys of Republic in Chino
Hills (1/2 hr from Santa Anita) where he can romp around with our 2 retired fillies.
Scott was very nice n also sent me a pix of Tasty’s boy. He looks good n has a really
    sweet face!
Hopefully this news will make all the fans n “moms” of I’myoursugardaddy (n I know
there are plenty) very happy under these circumstances.
    I will keep u informed .

Splint bone fx is a very minimal injury. And the other should also be recoverable so he should be rideable.

Was just thinking last night that we are approaching the one year anniversary of the loss of Z Princess. Perhaps little Curly Mane brought you and Sugar together. With all the donations given to rescue groups in her honor she, like Ferdinand, gave life and hope to so many other horses.

Should Beholder win the classic I do still believe AP has to be HOY which I hope will be on TVG this year. Thinking of Z Princess everyday. Miss you baby girl. Lots of love to Zenny, Coz and Zi. Beholder is in line for the hall of fame with graded wins at 2, 3, 4 and 5. She does have a better body of work over time than The Queen especially with her devastating win over the boys in the Pacific Classic. Her test will be to win the BCC, which is going to be a big test. Zenny did not have to beat a TC winner and American Pharoh can be compared to Frankel in his movement and stride.
The Queen is the Queen and no one is like her and can be compared to her for sure !!!!

Dear Kathy. It’s o easy to “pop a pill”for our ills these days but they are no cure.I was in tears looking at Bear’s grave earlier.Someone said he had raced at Churchill Downs and Santa Anita.A story comes along that really touches the heart. We get them in the UK.John and Jessie are overwhelmed by the support and messages. If this can happen to a grandson of Secretariat there is no hope for the lesser-known horses.
No change with William Fox-in-a -hole either still sedated.I remember Max telling me about the Panda cubs in Toronto Zoo.They arrived on Tuesday a 1st for Canada.Early days but they are cautiously optimistic.Poor Mango Grampa has had a stroke and Nay is stuck in Phoenix plus they had storms and the power went off.Nay told her God never gives us more than we can handle and to be strong.Gosh, Zoe is going to be a busy little girl today and she’s got new bows!Did you see the poem Wimbley wrote about his baff?Kate looked lovely yesterday in an aubergine dress was nearly £2,000!!!Hope you have a lovely Friday eve.No doubt we’ll hear about Hovis’hairdo tomorrow.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO

    Dear Sheena,

It was very hard to learn that Bear Witness lost his struggle to survive. Unimaginable that a grandson of Secretariat would end up like he did. So heartbreaking. May he rest in peace. Prayers continue for William Fox. Oh, I hope the pandas make it. They are such beautiful creatures. Sad news about Judy’s father. Such a shame Nay is gone right now. Sorry to hear she’s stuck in Phoenix. Zoe’s day will be crazy busy from the sounds of it. She will be one tired pup tonight! Had to laugh at Wimbley’s poem. The ratties’ mom is very clever and creative! Kate looked wonderful, but then she always does. I wish you a great Friday Eve, too. Looking forward to Hovis tomorrow!
