      Dear Kathy,

You are always very kind and wise, Thank you for your compassion for first Prince, CoZmic One. He will get it one day soon and we will all be jumping up and down cheering even those that have written him off today. If we believe, it will come so I stay strong in my belief of our first prince. Have a wonderfully Blessed day. It is always well at Z Nation.

Dear Kathy.Very wise devotional!!Thanks for the beautiful flowers. It’s a beautiful day at Newmarket and Wimbledon.Frankie’s just had a winner! There was a superb men’s quarter final on last night between Gasquet and Wawrinka Gasquet won and Murray is playing Federer tomorrow. The Ladies semi-finals are on today.Serena and Maria will be playing later. The ‘helicopter’ season has begun at the Dyfi bobby bach is stretching his wings! They were enjoying their lunch when I looked in.The ratties are away in Sam Diego in their little hut!Wonder what they’ll get up to??Poor Coz I felt so sorry for him last night.I know we will never give up on him and I think there has been too much expectation on his young shoulders.Never give up hope though!
It seems wittle Katy has a brain tumour she is clinging to Judy day and night. And they have a lot of mail to open.Did you see that story about Igor and his home from home!Such brilliant owners and he made a good friend too.Theba is going to visit little Willow isn’t she a cutie. The official pics of the christening are in the ‘Hello’ magazine next week Diana’s favourite photographer took them. There is going to be a huge party in the Mall on June 11th for Her Majesty’s 90th birthday.A weekend of festivities.Have a wonderful Friday eve.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.Sheena.XOXO

    Dear Sheena,

You’re welcome! Enjoy Wimbledon. Thank you for all those great pics. Gosh, poor Wills is sure losing a lot of his hair. That one pic really highlighted it. Seems Kate has all the hair! Oh well, it happens…The ospreys are so entertaining. Enjoyed the ratties in their hut. Very cute! At least Coz wasn’t dead last this time. As you say, we’ll never give up on him. He certainly is a gorgeous horse. So elegant looking. You can tell he is royalty! Poor little Katy. Judy is being such an excellent mom, though. She loves those furbabies so much. Missed the Igor story. Will look for it. Willow is adorable. Can’t wait to see the official christening pics. That will be a wonderful party for her Majesty’s 90th birthday. Again, happy Friday Eve. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO

Coz may have finished 7th, but he definitely improved even though some may not think so. Check it out. First, it appeared he was practicing some of his mom’s dance moves on the way to the post. Too Cute!! If that’s all he takes from his mom that’s enough. He’s not her. He’s very much his own horse and with time and patience I’m sure he’ll develop his own style. Secondly, he had a better break and finish than before and was ahead of two other horses this time out. Third, he seemed to have his head in the game and hopefully will continue to improve with each race. My advice to everyone is just to BE PATIENT!!

I must remember not to eat before watching the boys race. Coz seemed a little lost to me on the track. At one point I thought he was going to go inside and make up some ground. It just wasn’t meant to be on that day in that race. Cozmic One is going to be fabulous. He doesn’t need to try grass. Maybe he won’t really be ready until he is four. I’ll be there for him EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. I don’t give up that easily. For heaven’s sake I was an Oilers Fan! Coz is probably the most beautiful horse, besides his Mom, that I have ever seen. I love my Ziconic, too.

If I have learned anything from becoming a Z fan I am amazed at the PATIENCE required to be in the racing business. Or any time devoted to raising or training any animal. When Zenyatta was three years old, how many of her fans even knew she existed? Any story of any successful race horse is filled with disappointment and failure. And think of the years trainers and all grooms have spent waiting and waiting for a win. The pleasure should be in the journey. To the Mosses and John, just keep doing what you have been doing for years and see what comes. I admire you for putting up with all of us. I love sharing your horses with you. Thanks. Nancy S.

I love Coz, always have, always will. It’s way too soon to know how his racing career will turn out, but I trust John and the Mosses to figure Coz out, help him to learn, try what seems best and then determine where to go from there. Only time will tell.

Too bad our world has a “what have you done for me lately” mentality and absolutely no patience. Of course it would have been wonderful to see him “get it” during the race. But who knows what important lessons he learned yesterday? He seemed more comfortable in the post parade and in the gate — and is he not truly gorgeous! Pure joy to look at him and watch him move.

Good things come to those who wait…. let’s enjoy the journey with him!
    Hugs to all,

        Maureen,
I’m 100% with you…..he needs time. Don’t forget Zenny didn’t start racing until after 4 yrs old….. he is still growing up, mentally and physically. And for those who complain CoZ gets all the attention, you’re right, good attention and all the bad comments too. Zi should be glad he’s not in the spotlight yet, CoZ is taking all the abuse and will make it easier for ZI when his time comes. When he was acting up many wanted him gelded. He was very well behaved before and after this last race so he has learned his lesson well. Food for thought.

I wish we had more coverage of Ziconic. He seems the more promising of the two, but we rarely see or hear anything about him. Maybe Coz will have some better races in the future, but I don’t see that happening any time soon. Either he hasn’t figured it out, or he has figured it out and he doesn’t like it.

      Dear Ann K,

It is nice that you think Zi is the more promising of the two of the Queen’s Prince’s but if you did truly love her, then you will stand tall and support any of her kids no matter what. What if I told you that your sibling was better than you and that you would not amount to much how would you feel?, Keep your negative thoughts about first prince to yourself.

If second prince doesn’t meet your early expectations, how long will it take for you to jump ship and jump on the band wagoon of the third prince or princess. Some compassion would be nice even if First Prince is a horse. Enough said, have a great day.

On the day the trumpet rolls and first prince crosses the finish line first, those of us that believe in him and have the faith in him will be there to cheer him home. It is always well at Z Nation,

          Dear Carolyn from Montreal,

Thank you so much for your support of first Prince. Sometimes it gets too much, the poor boy never seems to catch a break. We all want for him to do well but we must all remember not to be carried away by the magic of the Queen and be aware that there can only be one Zenyatta and First Prince, though her son, is his own person with a different destiny which is still to unfold.. The wins will come in due time, there is always a time for everything for everyone and Prince CoZmic’s time to win will come. Again, thank you for your support of him. Have a Blessed night. It is always well at Z Nation.

Wow. I love Ziconic, but people are way too down on Coz now.

He has improved, he did better this time out, his workout times look good, he can run.

I think he’s quite large, he seems broad as well as tall judging from the video, and speaking as a tall person sometimes we don’t get our full strength until we get a bit older. In high school this can be a huge pain as the dainty little kids are doing flips and we are tripping over our shoes.

    Be patient! (My amateur opinion!)

Again, thank you. If we believe it will come and we will be there at the finish line to cheer him when he comes in first. It is always well at Z Nation. Blessings to all who believe and even those that don’t believe in first Prince.

I love every thing about Zenny and her offspring. I’m also a realist. When I look back at Ebby and all the expectations placed on her shoulders I just knew Coz would face the same scrutiny. It’s a fact all thoroughbreds, regardless of pedigree, may not like racing around the oval track. Each is an individual and very different. Zenny was one in a million and will never be duplicated by her offspring. She is sure to produce some very good horses but to match her accomplishments is virtually impossible. John has the patience and skill to know if Coz “has it”. What we are seeing is the result of the incredible access given to us by the Moses. We all want Coz to win. He probably doesn’t get it yet but may in time. Regardless, he is a handsome colt with an outstanding pedigree. We’ll know soon enough where his future will be.

This is something I’ve been lamenting for the past year.

With the acknowledgement that as fans we are never owed anything in regards to information about any of these horses, it would still be nice if Ziconic was given the same sort of coverage as CoZ.

But that seems to be the lot of the second born, to not be quite as ‘interesting’ as the first born. Perhaps Ziconic will make the world pay attention when he starts to burn up the track.

Ziconic has the best PR of all going on. An element of mystery surrounds Ziconic. This always makes a horse all the more interesting and his fans become eager for more. From what we know already, he certainly appears to have inherited his mother’s charisma and her dancing ability. He pays attention in school. He knows how to manoeuvre a wash cloth to help Mario with his chores. We’ve also learned so far that no one should try to get in his territory, and that he has a very nice set of teeth that he can use to great effect. More undoubtedly to come.

    July 10 Cherokee Devotional

Good people sometimes tend to believe the goodness is by their own power. Bad people know they stand on thin ice and secretly wish for help. Stupid people throw themselves into riotous panic with complete abandonment to evil.
Where is the gentleness and compassion and sweetness that is needed right now? It is in the hearts of those who know they cannot make it without spiritual strength, without keeping the laws, without knowing where the real Power exists. It is crucial to know which group appeals to us-and to make some decisions now.

It was you who sent out the first soldier, and we who sent out the second.

Dear Kathy.Sometimes I have to admit I am one of those stupid people!!!.Not evil by any means but I panic at the least sign of trouble!
Very hot at Wimbledon and Newmarket.Looking forward to Federer and Murray Djokovic is winning his semis so far.Poor Hovis and his women!I’m sure he misses Hot Stepper as a wingman.Wittle Katy and Mango got a lot of presents even diaper covers with suspenders! They got loads of onesies.Katy was more alert yesterday but isn’t able to drink any water.Mango is a wonderful nurse.Fubu had a doc’s apt yesterday(he was hiding)!haven’t had a report yet.Zoe had a wonderful visit with Mr Alex and he told her the story of meeting Mickey Rooney and Ava Gardner! So happy to see her getting better.I can’t rember where I saw the story of Georgia the dog who went missing out walking and made her own way home 35 miles .Woke her owner up!It was lovely to see Joey and his ladies again.I can’t believe the ospreys will soon be leaving for Africa the bobs were really stretching their wings earlier with mum looking on.Have a great Friday.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO

      Dear Sheena,

You have to feel sorry for the athletes at Wimbledon…working so hard in the heat. I can just picture Hovis with Mum alongside on her bike. Pretty funny. Would love to see Kathy and Mango in their diaper covers with the suspenders. Fubu is amazing. He just keeps going. You know Mr Alex was really impressed with little Zoe. She is a charmer! Can’t wait for her incarceration to be over with. The story of Georgia making it back home was truly amazing. Did you see the video of the cat taking care of the baby goat? So sweet! It is on Joey’s page. The ospreys aren;t around for very long at all. Feel sorry for the babies. They have to grow up fast! Have a wonderful Friday and enjoy the weekend ahead. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO
