    Another great race by Chrome! I will miss watching him run when he is retired next year.

    My dear Zenyatta, you should have received a Christmas gift from me. I mailed you a big bucket of soft peppermints on Monday. The Post Office said that it would be delivered on Friday.

    But there is a real Christmas. Christmas is supernatural power known as love. Call it whatever we will, it is and always has been supernatural, milk that turns into the richest cream. Look at it through the eyes of any denomination, it is still love. A life given for our redemption-so that we do not have to bear the results of all the things we’ve done-is a tremendous gift. It is the best gift we could ever receive.

    The New Zealand racing industry is in mourning after the tragic death of lady jockey Rebecca Black when her horse Point Proven came down in a flat race bringing down misscattlecreek who had to be euthanised.Sadly 2 of her children witnessed the fall and the aftermath.RIP special lady.

    Coneygree has been ruled out of the King George after a poor workout.Cue Card’s for the asking??

    Congratulations to Andy Murray for winning the BBC Sports Personality of the Year earlier tonight.Nick Skelton got my vote and came 3rd.Simona Biles won the overseas award and HRH the Duke of Cambridge presented Michael Phelps with a lifetime achievement award.Well done to all our sportsmen this year’

    Walter Swinburn’s funeral will take place on Thursday December 29th at Our Lady Immaculate and St Etheldreda catholic church in Newmarket.His parents Wally and Doreen and brother Michael have been overwhelmed by messages of love and support from which they draw comfort.The choirboy is at peace now.God bless

    Dear Judy.We lost The Bear over the weekend a cat I have known in books and on twitter for a while now.His owner Tom Cox is an author and journalist.He was 21yrs old and his health had been failing this summer.He was a gentle soul and Tom thought he would have to take him to the vet Saturday to be put to sleep but the Bear passed away that night,His one last act of kindness.RIP Bear sleep sweetly,Goodnight God bless you LM PC HT Cap Hercules Frank Bentley and all the sweeties.Love and hugs SheenaX

    Laws govern everything. Written or unwritten, we have certain rules to keep if we are to do well and be happy. The law of music requires hitting the right notes if we are to hear a melody.     Nicky Henderson has admitted it’s”touch and go” for Captain Conan who suffered a fractured pelvis at Ascot on Saturday.Keeping everything crossed for a full recovery.Nicky Richards also paid tribute to Eduard who died on saturday.All the staff at Greystoke are devastated.Much sympathy to them and all those killed tonight in Berlin.,RIP
